  1. So you do have some redeeming qualities after all! Don't worry though, they won't last once she goes to work on ya!~!~ : )
  2. Nah... they ain't gonna accept that reasoning for sure!!!
  3. What's this? Never heard of Eucon. As I understand this, @Jim Roseberry this will extend the functionality of the app that Simon is talking about? [edit] I see it's a Avid plugin? Correct? How would this work in CW? Mackie Control? Midi?
  4. They were giving away the SSL bundle just a few days ago if you got the Gold Bundle. And for those that had plugins that are included with Gold, you could have gotten the bundle a lot cheaper than the asking price, which was a really good deal.
  5. Not sure I understand this. As I understand it, your suggesting that I am speaking like I am being paid to say this? Correct me if I am wrong.
  6. You maybe a little unfair, but... getting almost all those plugins on the first page for $29 at one time or another isn't helping the situation at all. I guess the guys in marketing have got to justify their existence somehow!! Let's give 'em the benefit of doubt, this sale must be for the VERY FEW who haven't seen these plugins go for $29!!
  7. I have resisted the upgrade path for this one. My reasoning is that I play with EZD settings enough (not including the added fx I place on the bus!) that if I were presented with more options, I'd never get a drum trk done!!
  8. Great ideas BD!! I was also thinking of an option to have in EZK2 like in EZD2 where you can add more or less notes for a given clip.
  9. Great price. I started using them about a year and a half ago. At first it seems it would just get redundant and sound like everyone else that uses it. But don't fall into that mindset. As others have pointed out, they did their homework over at ToonTrack on this one. Example. Just drag some stuff you like into the timeline. Then change the key. Then go through it and change some of the chords to something else. As you listen you will feel your wanting it to go a certain way. Use the chord chart to change that section. and you can also use that chord chart to make inversions,7ths, add 9ths, and just keep going till it goes in a direction you like. Now bring that into your DAW and start to really make it your own. Change some of the melody notes to something more to your liking. Change some of the left hand stuff to give variety. Me not being a piano player, after I finish adjusting the midi like I want/need in my DAW, I bring it back into EZ Keys and that's when it really comes alive. It's like having an accomplished player at your disposal. EZ Keys is much much more than just a sample player. If the new EZ Bass is anything like EZ Keys, I'm gonna be in heaven!!
  10. It's been a long long time since this came up, but I think you are correct. However, if I am not mistaken, all the older EZXP were updated to 24bit when ED2 hit the scene. Not all right away, but they all eventually became 24bit.
  11. I haven't had any issues with Waves new versions. And I would suggest to those that do to run that version organizer. From what I gather from talking to a few people is that Waves is still trying to keep backward compatibility with the last three versions all together on the same system. Some stuff they no longer use so it's not in the new WaveShell. But the older stuff needs the old WaveShell. Some stuff is used with live mixers/dj's and such and they use the Soundgrid app. Certain WaveShell are needed for that. And then there's the ability to have your Waves license on a USB stick and all of your presets for all Waves plugins that you use on your projects, so big producers can hop on a plane and fly around the world to another studio and plug their USB stick in and have use of the Waves plugins installed on that studio computer, presets and all!! And it's just on and on. I am surprised they keep it going at all!!
  12. Don't know if you have Vitamin already, but if not, give that a go. Lots of fun there! This is so true. You can use the comp C1 or Audio Track on all of your tracks and not take a huge hit on your cpu. And both of those plugins are outstanding. The C1 comp reminds me of the Sonitus comp, clean, transparent, easy to use, and no cpu hit. If you want more colorful comp, try the V Comp.
  13. You will not be dissapointed. There is not a dud in the Gold bundle. Old UI maybe, but they all still work extremely well. And if you bought from Koby over at everyplugin.com, you ain't got nothing to worry about. He will fix you up. He's never let me down, or anyone else that I know of. Customer service over there is outstanding. If there is something wrong, he'll fix it.
  14. This is a great deal!! Just think Larry, back in the day this would have never ever happened!! : ) Sure glad times are a changin!!
  15. @DeeringAmps Tom the 660p Series of M.2 drives from Intel use a new type of memory tech that is able to get more storage in the memory chips, but it's not as fast as other type memory chips. And you have to remember, they are comparing the 660p Series to other M.2 drives such as the EVO 960 Pro drives (> $1400!!! for 2TB).
  16. So I knew I registered the Classic Keys after I purchased it, but didn't know how long after. Well, turns out it was much later in the day, but not late enough. : ( However.... Checking into this purchase and looking at "My Products" I realized that I was missing something.... my recent Dream Machine purchase from BF!! And I thought, no, this won't work. Ah.... but it did!!! I got an extra sound pack too!! Got the Dream Machine for <$24... so that would be < $13 per expansion!! I chose the Pipe Organ as my freebie. I got almost all the rest. Sure pays to visit here!! Thanks Larry and PAL Music.
  17. I saw this and was really glad to see large capacity M.2 drives coming down in price. It may not be the fastest drive out there, but it's makes up for it in the bang-for-buck department.
  18. What was the second deal? I missed it! @PAL Music good deal to get that extra sound pack with the sale item!! I must have registered just a little too soon. Sale must have still been going on. I didn't get anything. How did you know you got the freebie?
  19. We made out alright, thanks BD for checking on me!! Seems it was about 100 north of here.
  20. Not to get off topic here, but I have generated midi chord progressions and melody lines with midi generating programs, then took that and brought it into EZ Keys and have had excellent results. EZ Keys gives the generated midi a real human feel to it. So if you don't have EZkeys yet, this deal is a excellent way to get this great EZ midi engine into your tool box.
  21. I grabbed this. It told me I got 7 products with this purchase. the three plugins and some add-on packs.
  22. I picked up the American Classics Rig pack. Thanks Larry!! Merry Christmas ma brudda!!
