  1. Gotta give a shout out to PSP support. They are really some of the best out there. Really good company. Even if they deal with Pace!!
  2. Which is what I like about them. I don't hear that in Nightwish. The way it's played in that band reminds me of a pan flute without the breath sound. Much richer though. It was a good listen.

    PA Survey

Anyone take it? I got an invitation email.
  4. I updated Amplitube to 4.9.1 But when I started Custom Shop it said Amplitube needed updating. Realizing I had already did that, I started Amplitube in standalone and it was indeed updated to 4.9.1 So I figured something was amuk with Custom Shop. @Peter - IK MultimediaI did get Sunset. Sweet!!
  5. This makes sense and I would agree with them. Support in a legacy product is very costly. But to just cut off all owners of SD2 because you didn't upgrade when we wanted/told ya to is what baffles me! That goes against any business practices I've ever heard of!! Maybe: If you don't upgrade in this time period, you won't get as good a deal. The upgrade price goes up after this date. But to tell people (loyal customers I might add, that helped you finance the new version) you don't get any upgrade price just because you didn't do it in a certain time frame? [edit] Just to be quite honest here, I love EZD 2, EZ Keys, and am looking forward to EZ Bass!!
  6. Agreed. I mean even IK with their "upgrades" still offer the option.
  7. I think the drive itself would be fast enough. The question would be is the interface it's hooked up to capable? IOW, is it true USB 3? Or is it one of the first gen USB 3? And do you have good cables? All things to consider.
  8. Oh I see.... If you don't upgrade now, you option for an upgrade price is gone. You will now have to pay full price to get the latest and greatest. Yeah.. see how that works for ya!!
  9. Why would they do that? It makes no sense! What does it matter when you upgrade? Today? Tomorrow? Next month? What if you ain't got the jack right now? Things are tight? So TT has said "If ya don't give me your money now, I don't want your money ever!" Who's running that company? A f'n idiot!!!
  10. I didn't hear about this either. I am not a SD user. Just a lowly EZD user. I could understand them wanting to cut-off users of the old version from support network. But saying you are no longer a customer? That is a little far.
  11. If TT lacks in anything, it is the upgrade part. Other than that, they hitting on all cylinders. But it still makes ya wonder why they lack in that one area!?
  12. PC gaming was taking a backseat to the consoles there for a while. But the PC has hung in there and appears to be on the comeback trail as the premier gaming device. I had to make a choice long ago, gaming or music! I just couldn't do both. Well.... and not keep a job to support both habits hobbies!! LOL!
  13. This is true. I never used it before but it is an option to get over deactivations when switching computers.
  14. LOL!! All of this! Never knew there were so many bagpipe jokes.
  15. I think that accounts for at least 90% of us. Probably more, but we can leave it at that.
  16. I found it in the user area. Under the section Manage Your Devices. Read it right there. It's easy to overlook. I been doing it for a while!! : )
  17. I was not sure. Never contacted PA support. Never needed to. Simon looks like he found something. Which is good news.
  18. I had to put in my email address before it would let me use the code. $189 after taxes. With this 12tb and the 4tb I got, I should be good to go for a while.
  19. I was gonna post this!! You on top your game this morning Larry!! They also have the 4TB WD Red hd for $89 with code. But I am not sure if that code if just for email deals or open to all. I have a WD Elements 4tb external drive, and I was surprised at how fast it is when hooked up to USB3. When I saw this deal I was like drooling all over.... 12TB!!!! For $174? I may jump on this. That's a lot of storage!!
  20. All those are good. For $20? No-Brainer.
  21. One thing that is different about the license agreement with PA is, it only allows 7 deactivations for each plugin. That's it. Game over. Now, since they let you put them on 3 machines, That's what I did. Put them on all three of my machines. I just built a new computer and deactivated all PA plugins on that machine. So all my plugins have at least one deactivation on them. If any of the other two machines go down, then I am down to just four deactivations left. Thing is, I know I had them on my home machine and I have rebuilt that one too. I just don't remember if PA plugins were on it at the time. I can see this becoming a problem for those not aware (like me) of this limitation. Also, I can find no where on the web site that tells me how many deactivations I have left.
  22. Ya got me look'n!!
  23. If it's the last thing we ever do!!
  24. I thought about it and agree with you. That's why I wrote the second post As you can read in that post, I also agree with this:
  25. If it was a former employee or a hacker that is at the root of this, then that would be a shame. But to be honest, I will think about this before I pull the trigger on any purchase from them. And I likely won't pull the trigger. Just being honest. If it was a former employee or a hacker, neither says anything good about the security over there.
