It was the Bflat that did it!!

Kinda agree with ya on that. But the fact is, that's what they did. You make some valid points with the restrictions out of their control, but surely TT would have/should have thought about that before they signed up with those restrictions. IDK, something just ain't adding up! But the fact remains, they removed any upgrade path for loyal users.

I am liking this. : ) Very interested. Will have to demo this before the intro price fades away.

Really good and in depth video Zo. I like how you kept the same music going throughout most of the video. That allowed me to really concentrate on the reverb itself. Nice choice of sharp transients in there! : ) I like how you went through each room, then each chamber, then each ISO Booth! And you also let the reverb speak for itself. Also liked the pace of the video. Nice and relaxed. I didn't get the sense that you were trying to shove a lot of info down my throat in a short period of time! As it goes it develops, allowing me to think while watching. Nice! : ) And boy did I get some ideas from that!! Thanks again Zo.

Note: these are all everyplugin.com prices API Collection is $100-$50 makes that cost $50=12.50 a plugin! Good deal there. Eddie Kramer Signature Collection $77-20=57 for 5 plugins = $11 per plugin. JJP Artist Series and Manny Series $77-$20=$57 for 6 plugins = $9.50 per plugin. Tony Maserati $77-$20=$57 for 7 plugins = $8 per plugin. Greg Wells Signature Series $77-$20=$57 for four plugins. $14 per plugin. And these are kinda one knob plugins, but they got some ability to tune certain parameters which make these some really good sounding plugins. Best Deal #1: Musicians 2 $54-$20=$34 that's six plugins @$5.66 per plugin. And those are some good plugins in that collection. Ren AXX, Vox, Comp, EQ. Those alone are worth the $34. And they throw in Super Tap and Doubler. Best Deal #2: Ren Maxx for $77-$20=$57 for 10 great plugins! That's $5.70 per plugin! This is a good sale!!

@Wibbles Great find!

I have to agree with this. I have been really lucky with my purchases from IK. The ironic thing is, I've been lucky because of Larry!
-
I didn't even write mine down. Almost all my monthly vouchers have gone to waste since they started that BS. Even tried giving them away and those people could not make use of them.
-
Gotta give a shout out to PSP support. They are really some of the best out there. Really good company. Even if they deal with Pace!!

Which is what I like about them. I don't hear that in Nightwish. The way it's played in that band reminds me of a pan flute without the breath sound. Much richer though. It was a good listen.

I updated Amplitube to 4.9.1 But when I started Custom Shop it said Amplitube needed updating. Realizing I had already did that, I started Amplitube in standalone and it was indeed updated to 4.9.1 So I figured something was amuk with Custom Shop. @Peter - IK MultimediaI did get Sunset. Sweet!!

This makes sense and I would agree with them. Support in a legacy product is very costly. But to just cut off all owners of SD2 because you didn't upgrade when we wanted/told ya to is what baffles me! That goes against any business practices I've ever heard of!! Maybe: If you don't upgrade in this time period, you won't get as good a deal. The upgrade price goes up after this date. But to tell people (loyal customers I might add, that helped you finance the new version) you don't get any upgrade price just because you didn't do it in a certain time frame? [edit] Just to be quite honest here, I love EZD 2, EZ Keys, and am looking forward to EZ Bass!!
-
Agreed. I mean even IK with their "upgrades" still offer the option.

I think the drive itself would be fast enough. The question would be is the interface it's hooked up to capable? IOW, is it true USB 3? Or is it one of the first gen USB 3? And do you have good cables? All things to consider.
-
Oh I see.... If you don't upgrade now, you option for an upgrade price is gone. You will now have to pay full price to get the latest and greatest. Yeah.. see how that works for ya!!
-
Why would they do that? It makes no sense! What does it matter when you upgrade? Today? Tomorrow? Next month? What if you ain't got the jack right now? Things are tight? So TT has said "If ya don't give me your money now, I don't want your money ever!" Who's running that company? A f'n idiot!!!
-
I didn't hear about this either. I am not a SD user. Just a lowly EZD user. I could understand them wanting to cut-off users of the old version from support network. But saying you are no longer a customer? That is a little far.
-
If TT lacks in anything, it is the upgrade part. Other than that, they hitting on all cylinders. But it still makes ya wonder why they lack in that one area!?
