Triad is also on sale at Plugin Boutique. https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/14944
The advantage of buying it there is that you get some virtual cash and the freebie of the month. Currently you get Wave Alchemy Pulse free with any purchase.

So.. looking at this.. it's currently $149 even on Memorial Day weekend... so does it ever go on sale?
Seldom.
Here's the price history on Music Software Deals. But that only shows the history from three shops, not even including the official vendor's store.
However, I got it for 28€ with a coupon code. They used to give you an 80% off coupon when unsubscribing from their newsletter. They stopped doing that after they became aware that this was posted here on the forum. You might still be lucky to find some coupon codes for Impact Soundworks on the internet though.-

I should have known it would come soon. The signs were there. But no, dumb me just recently purchased Total Studio 4 MAX upgrade and T-RackS 6 upgrade. If I had waited a bit, I could have gotten all of that plus PianoVerse for just 12€ more.

Also awkward that they don't even mention it anywhere on the official IK Multimedia website.

What’s New
- MODO BASS 2 adds fretless, upright basses and grooves
- MODO DRUM 1.5’s 13 endlessly customizable drum kits
- 12 new Syntronik 2 synthesizers
- AI-powered Tone Modeling with TONEX MAX
- T-RackS Joe Chiccarelli, Farm Stone Room and more
That's exactly what was new in Total Studio 4 vs 3.5. Did they just copy-paste the old text?

The sale has been extended and you can even get 25% off with coupon code "EASTERSORRY25". It's an apology for the site having been down for a few hours, according to the newsletter.

Nice. Even without purchasing the upgrade to V Collection 11, just by updating my V Collection X I got 921 new presets in Analog Lab. 😃

Can't lie, loving the Pokemon card style presentation of the new products on their website!

And I'm impressed by how well they created the effects. Those cards aren't pre-rendered. It's all just divs, CSS and JavaScript. I've never seen any website with such an effect.

Awkward. I also have V Collection X and Pigments and my upgrade price is €199.

The new issue of Beat Magazine came out today. Subscribers can already download the German issue at www.plugins-samples.com.
This month's freebie is "Things Texture" from AudioThing, a granular reverb with pitch shifting and mid/side mode.
And this month's Zampler expansion is called "Oasis of Percussion" with 106 oriental drums & soundscapes.

Funny bug at the moment on their website. When I go to https://www.arturia.com/store/v-collection-pro (the link from the upgrade button) I get an endless redirect https://www.arturia.com/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/store/de/v-collection-pro 🫠

Usually the best deal is to wait for Black Friday sales. Upgrades from ANY version of V Collection to the latest have been $99.
Cool. I'll wait 10 years then and upgrade to V Collection 21 and get 60 new synths for $99. I'm so looking forward to it 😃

I would seriously hope that they are considering releasing some of their own synths as Emulations, particularly the PolyBrute/PB12. I mean realistically they kind of have priced that thing WAY out of the league of most folks, but a software version would make it affordable and enhance it's propogation in the industry PLUS I can tell you as a person who owns the Korg Library, it has helped me make decisions to purchase several of my physical synths having played with the software versions.
Anyway I don't see any lack of material to use to create additional "new synths" but I really do wish they'd hit up their own catalogue. Same goes for Yamaha and several others. Just saying.I bet they will. After all, they've already made a start with the software versions of MiniBrute and MiniFreak.

As far as I know, that is the only virtual instrument that has ever been removed.
Depends if you count Prophet V3.

But how much does it come out to when you calculate the Plugins You Actually Use?
Thanks to their integration into Analog Lab I kinda use them all. When searching for presets I don't have to decide beforehand which plugin I want to use today. I search through all the presets of the entire collection and if I need to tweek a preset I can hop into the plugin from within Analog Lab and back. Best concept ever. Also, they have the world's best preset browser.

If you have a paid version of T-RackS 6, your T-RackS 5 plugins will work in it. The only one that doesn't work this way is the free T-RackS 6 Intro version.
Also covered in our FAQ at https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1517
My statement that was quoted above was factual, not misleading.
Sorry, misleading was the wrong word. Confusing. I find it confusing. What does it mean for a T-RackS 5 plugin to be upgraded to work in T-RackS 6? I know for you it's clear as day because you're so familiar with your products, but in my world a plugin is either version x or version y, but version x being upgraded to work in version y - that's kinda unfamiliar to me.
Anyway, don't get me wrong. I'm an IK fan.

ridiculous upgrade price, compared with certain other companies who manage to sell their products at around a quarter to a third of what Arturia charges.
Not if you wait for Black Friday. Also, might be worth skipping an upgrade or two, if you want to save money.
Edit: I just checked how much I've paid so far.
I crossgraded from Analog Lab Lite&Pigments to V Collection 9 for €149, then upgraded from V Collection 9 to V Collection X for €99. In total, that's €248 for 39 plugins, which makes it €6.36 per plugin. That's ridiculously cheap. People charge more for a handful of presets.-

The licenses for the individual modules are specific to TR5 or TR6, so if your licenses were purchased for TR5, you aren't entitled to the TR6 versions. That's how it's worked for me at least. I would think that that is by design, because it would amount to a free upgrade for each of the modules, which I don't think they'd want to do (otherwise why bother making new versions).
That's what one would expect, but it was quite misleading when @IK Multimedia wrote:
QuoteAlso might be worth it for those who would like to upgrade their T-RackS 5 plugins to work in T-RackS 6 as the $30+ tier includes Total Studio Essentials which is T-RackS 6, [...]
With that statement I can understand why people would expect all their T-RackS 5 plugins to work in T-RackS 6.

They usually convert to your local currency, so it could be $29 USD but what you're seeing is the price in your country.
OMG, true, the $42 that @Nitrate Audio sees is probably Canadian Dollars. 🤯
When I switch the currency to Canadian Dollars that's exactly what I see.-

It's not our job to figure out if a coupon code was meant for the public or not. If companies don't want coupon codes to be public, it's in their responsibility to create personalized codes instead.
When companies reply in such an adversarial, reproachful way, it makes me not want to use their products at all.
