I have FX 2 and just couldn’t swing the update to 3. I love their effects. The whole package has given me a favorite reverb, compressor, and an almost-favorite EQ. Lovely design and the new preset browsing feature make them so easy to use. And they sound great.

I’m a newbie with OTS and went with Roundwound Bass. I’ve been using MODO bass for years but the OTS demo makes that library sound like it’s in a different league altogether. You can hide a lot of the artificial-ness of MODO in a mix but for more intimate genres—or where bass plays a more prominent role—it’s just not up to snuff if there are higher quality options available. I was on the fence for the group buy, thinking the NI Prime Bass might be a solid option, but the price was right and KU14CE is probably still a couple of months away.

This. Outside of high gain tones it’s one of my favorite amp sims and has been for a long time. It’s just that the “coming soon” speil gets old really quick.

I surely hope there’s more to this “major release” than a drive pedal.

That extra 2 hours means we can figure out how long we can put off paying utilities, car insurance, and grocery bills. Thanks, Larry!!

Did you try it? I'm probably gonna pick up Split EQ but thought I could get both for just a little more if I started off with Physion.

Has anyone tried applying OME50OTC to an upgrade to Split EQ from Physion?

Best sounding expansion yet, to my ears. By far the best toms for harder hitting genres. The Ludwig kit is a beast! My new favorite Black Beauty, too. Glad Drew & Co. got the authorization hang ups sorted, for the most part. I don’t like checking in with the mothership but it’s far better than the immediate post-Roli aftermath. I just hope there’s workflow improvements slated for the future.
