I agree the vocal needs to be more upfront. I'm on laptop so hard to say, maybe eq it differently or drive it more into a compressor to make it sit on top. Your voice quality fits the tune nicely so don't get too hung up on that.

No subscriptions for me, I only use a handful of their plugins anymore & not in every project so it for me it would be like throwing money down the drain once a year. Their new releases are good but nothing I don't already have covered. @rasure Same here, I'll take iLok over a plugin subscription any day.

Dug out this easy listening/ instrumental tune today from my archives, did a few quick changes, remixed & made a video backdrop for it. Written one afternoon in June 2000 when I found out an old friend passed away. Not sure what version of Cake I originally used back then but it was 16b44k & the internet collab drum track was an mp3. CbB worked great, no issues loading or editing the old file.

I hope there's plans to add the ATR 102 at some point, that's the one I'd really be interested in hearing.

This was free when it was released a few years ago. It's easy to set up, used it a few times for drum bleed.
