acustica audio DiBiQuadro - Virgo for Nebula 4 / Nebula 4 Player
Hidden Symmetry posted a topic in Deals
DiBiQuadro - Virgo is a library for Nebula 4 / Nebula 4 Player based on what has truly established itself as the “industry standard” for combo/self-contained all-tube guitar amplifiers. The sampled model is a '65 reissue of the version often referred to as “Blackface”, used on thousands of recordings and countless live performances, proven to be incredibly versatile not only for guitar but also bass, keyboards, vocals, accordion, electric violin and many other electrified instruments. The main core of Virgo has been sampled with top class cables/gear to obtain the greatest path possible. Additionally, two pristine reverbs - a Room (default) and a Rich Plate - have been taken from a highly acclaimed digital hardware reverb unit; then, two different flavors of vintage tremolo – mono and stereo – have been added to satisfy your need for surf music and significantly multiply the sound possibilities; finally, a built-in limiter completes the chain. Early access* pricing - €89 / €57.85 - Save 35% OFF In order to use products from the official 3rd party developers: - It is mandatory first to install either N4 Player or N4. Only after this it will be possible to proceed with the installation of 3rd party products. - Please don't install both versions of N4 - use only one of them to guarantee a proper functioning of the products! - Please make sure that you use an up-to-date version of N4 or N4 Player. - N4 and N4 Player cannot coexist. --> Here -

I tried the demo for a few hours yesterday. I liked it in general, only wish it had a few more features. The sample rate is limited, you can't create fades which I usually prefer doing during mastering. You can only do one track at at time so for cd you'd still need other mastering software. It would be nice to add 3rd party plugins but I do understand why they don't offer it. It sounded very good, nice features & very stable, never crashed. It uses a lot of cpu when calculating though. $99.00 is a fair price, just wish it was more of an all in one mastering solution. (I couldn't get the online analyzer to work, always got an error message when uploading tracks.)

Thanks Bjorn, I wrote & recorded this one hot summer afternoon, glad you got the vibe.

Thanks Tom, Yeah, I left them simple so maybe it could stand some tweaks. Thanks for the suggestion.

I would've never thought of H&O. Thanks for the feedback. Thanks for the kind words Andy!

Re-mixed this ballad today using a mono cube & testing plugins. Hope the cube mix translates.

Removing Waves VI samples
Hidden Symmetry replied to Hidden Symmetry's topic in Instruments & Effects
Thanks Max, With Waves you have to remove everything then re-install what you want. I did but as I expected it didn't remove any of the samples! No biggie, I deleted the samples folder & re-installed. -
This update installs the 48-88 kHz sample files. It's been suggested to include an option in Aquarius to only install the samples selected by the user. I end up deleting any 48-88 kHz samples to save space. This update alone was 1.3 GB.

Enjoyed the listen. Nice groove, chord changes. Singing almost has kind of a Michael Franks vibe to it. -Great job.
-
Enjoyed this. Great guitar tone, the first couple notes immediately reminded me of The Shadow Of Lo by RTF. - Great job!

Yeah, with AA make sure you test. These early releases can have all sorts of bugs hiding away in them. Remember trials & full releases aren't compatible, saved presets aren't either.

Thank you. Yeah, I've got a lot of non cup-of-tea material! Thanks for the feedback. Thanks Gary, I usually get others to sing on my tracks but this was just a quickie mix. It's already back into the archives.

Yes, don't Delay

We're excited to announce free updates for two of our most popular plugins! ValhallaVintageVerb has been updated to version 2.0.2, with a new reverb algorithm: Chaotic Neutral. ValhallaDelay is now at version 1.1.2, with a reduced noise floor. Valhalla Delay 1.1.2 Lower noise floor with feedback values <100%. Fixed bug where some PT users would experience AAE 9173 error when adding the plugin to a project with the transport running. Valhalla VintageVerb 2.0.2 Chaotic Neutral. This is a new reverb mode, with smooth chaotic modulation, and a "neutral" tonality that makes it perfect for almost any reverb application! VST3 (in addition to VST 2.4, AU, AAX) Fixed the Ambience algorithm, to avoid "echoes" that a few users reported on occasion. https://valhalladsp.com/

I'm wasting over 20 GB's of HD space with the Waves Instruments that I never use. Any recommended way of deleting the samples? Should I just delete the sample folder or will they be removed if I uninstall from WC? thanks

Going through more of my archives here's an unfinished WIP/ throw away circa late 90's, IIRC Cakewalk Pro.3. Singing isn't my thing but left I the scratch vocals as is. Remixed it today trying out new plugins & tweaks.

Thanks Mesh, appreciate it!
