  1. No problem, thanks John. Thanks for the feedback & listening to the entire project. I don't consider myself a jazz or fusion guitarist so the Gambale reference is very much appreciated!
  2. I enjoyed this very much. It all sounds great; guitars, groove & vocals. Nice!
  3. I've pulled out Trident a few weeks ago after a long time of non-use , it still holds it own for certain purposes. This looks interesting, will check it out. Thanks
  4. Run RM to install both RM & profiler updates.
  5. No problem, I've received plenty of critiques over the years & I welcome it.
  6. Don't need another verb but would like to check it out. Where's the demo link? Got it, just read up a few posts!
  7. The new HH redo is an improvement. Makes the tune groove even better. - great job
  8. I know what you mean Gary. It's constant learning & discovery. As far as panning an orchestra nothing is written in stone although there are useful guidelines. I also sometimes find an imager useful, narrowing certain samples with a wide stage, isolating solo instruments or pushing sections towards the back of the stage. As for eqing orchestral instruments I usually start with simple HP-LP filters then listen for problematic frequencies (such as a 1-3 khz harshness strings etc..) Looking forward to you next projects!
  9. For bass centering I bought NuGen's years ago. I have the others mentioned but still use MF, it just works & works great. BTW I just found out there an issue with VST3 Boz plugins if you're using them Cubase. They don't always bypass the fx when rendering & disabling them.
  10. Nice one Larry, I actually found it relaxing & flowing. - great job.
  11. Hi Gary , great work here. The one thing for me is that I'm hearing too much vibrato on the violins, esp #1 ( left) for these quick passages. It's almost like an out of phase effect. One thing I would try is alternating more between different articulations; legato, marcato & shorts. (I haven't had my first cup of coffee yet so maybe it's my ears!) Still nicely done- really enjoyed it.
  12. Thanks noynekker, I tried it just to check it out. It's pretty cool, easy to set up & design. For today's social media it can be a useful tool. I'd compare it to BandCamp, you set it up to share & sell your music. It's good to see them rolling out new features anyway plus it's free.
  13. Thank you both for listening & the kind comments. It's appreciated.
  14. Thanks Mark, appreciate the kind words. Glad you enjoyed the tunes.

  16. Thanks Gary, There were plenty of grey areas in the tracking & mixing back then but that project was a learning experience.
  17. BandLab is currently rolling out a new 'Albums' feature now in beta. Check it out if you have your music online here.
  18. It's a great deal & they don't usually put this on sale because of the licensing agreement with Fearn. Plus this is the first time I can recall where you can use your personal discount coupon on it to get more $ off.
