MagicVerb is the latest result of the collaboration between MagicDeathEye aka Ian Sefchick and DDMF. This journey was a little more creative as we weren’t modeling a piece of hardware. We were modeling spaces and experimenting with EQ and texture. Ian spent a decade working at a studio known for its chambers and that dark beautiful feeling of space was always with him when creating these models. We had a lot of his engineer and producer buddies check em’ out and used their feedback to tighten everything up. We also put a really cool plate and model of a classic digital reverb in there as well. There’s nothing new under the sun and this has all been done before, so the objective was to make a reverb plugin as useful as the Magic Death Eye compressor plugins. A real utility reverb that works on everything and is super easy to operate. A reverb with depth, texture, and lots of love. A MagicVerb! Available in 32 and 64 bit format, as a VST, VST3, AU and AAX plugin. On Mac, OSX 10.7 or higher is required. Intel and Apple Silicon are both supported. Reg$99.00 / Sale-Intro $69.30 https://ddmf.eu/magicverb/

Silver consists of: 1- Silver: the main FREE player (standard version) featuring fine-tuning controls, LP and HP filters, plus a 3-band EQ applied to the reverberated signal source. It contains, by default, four different emulated physical spaces. 2- Silver Mini: a mini FREE version of the Silver player, which includes the same features as Silver except for the mid-band EQ and a smaller display than the main version. 3- Silver Lite: an alternative FREE version of the player that includes the same features of Silver but does not include the LP and HP filters and the 3-band EQ. Silver web-page: https://www.acustica-audio.com/store.../reverb/silver Silver Volume A includes 77 physical spaces from many different locations that we carefully measured and profiled for a total of more than 120 different emulations divided in several categories: Club - Religious - Opera & Theatre - Studio & Scoring - Public Spaces - Music Misc - Post Misc - Domestic. We started by taking advantage of the wonderful cultural heritage of our nation, rich in historically, architecturally and acoustically interesting places, and then moved on to Europe as well. Yes I did ! I had it done in Detroit by a luthier named 'Kindly Ole Uncle Orrin'. He converted this to a lefty around 1979. I found it in a ma & pa shop sitting up against the wall when I was playing in Paducah, KY.. He said it was his son's & was selling it. I picked it up for $250.00. He also was selling this Boogie which I also purchased ( I was heavy into Carlton at the time) -

For those interested, wish Walter was still with us but ... Several lps are still my fav. recordings for reference tracks, my yardstick for quality & taste musically & sonically.. "Earlier this week we were greeted with the news that not one but TWO new Steely Dan-ish records would be dropping soon, both of them live documents. Northeast Corridor: Steely Dan Live! and Donald Fagen’s The Nightfly Live are both set to street on September 24, 2021 from Universal Music." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrLKinIp3wI&t=243s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7k7d_nuhGWk&t=12s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VojIs7zuKHo&t=104s

acustica audio Acustica Flash Sale- ACQUA Water+ Ultramarine.
Hidden Symmetry replied to Hidden Symmetry's topic in Deals
Yes, you can delete these using the trash can (upper right-next to the gear icon) in Aquarius / PURGE. ( or by hand) I always suggest that if it's a new release to keep them in your stage area for a few weeks . This way you won't have to download all the files over again. If there's any updates you'll only need to download those, which are usually smaller in comparison. I also keep my stage area on an internal storage drive, not my main drive. -
Sure, that might work real well.

This might work well on Jean Luc Ponty / fusion type material...hmmm

That's a great product as well. I prefer DMG, it slightly has the edge quality wise. Ever try it?
-
It's a good eq considering the price but for myself it's redundant. DMG's Equilibrium is still my #1 for basic & critical eq chores.

^^^^ THIS! ^^^^ I took the loss & deleted this off my system a few years ago.. I deleted this off my system as well, won't bother installing again until it's fixed & improved...disappointing as it was once my choice for canned drums.

Ah, the ongoing WUP arguments Estd. 1994. It's all in how you rationalize the math. I haven't purchased a WUP in 3 years, I can upgrade Mercury for $160.00..Say I only use half of the 180 plugins in the bundle, so 60 plugins costs roughly $2.70 each to upgrade. I haven't purchased a WUP in 3 years so I could look at that as .89c each. (Plus whatever new plugins were added to the bundle in 3 years) I'll probably wait another year or two since I only use a few Waves plugins these days & they don't need to be upgraded to function in my older or current projects. By then WUP might be a thing of the past (although whatever they do to replace it might be worse, not worried either way tbh..)

His ( Analog Obsession's) coding is getting better & this doesn't sound bad but still the HPF is way off & there's no HF shelf. I have AlexB's Harry32 for N4, sampled from 2 refurbished channels (line input, mic preamp, equalizer, filters.) & Honey from AA (1970s era Harrison 32C equalizer, homebrew and vintage, feedforward VCA compressor.) Where Harrison claims their plugin has every resistor, capacitor, and transistor AA & AlexB actually sampled & have those characteristics. (although honestly I don't know how accurate they translate to the actual h/w.)
