In case any are unaware, If you are on one of the 2 lower versions you can switch around which headphone profiles/models are available for you to use, eg if you are on the lower version but have 2 sets of phones you use and wish to use set 2 for a while you can just switch over in your account. It's a little bit of work involved, a couple of clicks . Like you aren't stuck with the phones you select on purchase. But at the price you can get ultimate for, well . . .

I think I read something the other day that said it wasn't in there yet, but will be in the next release. Emphasis on think

Plugin Boutique Scaler EQ Innovation Award Sale (Exclusive) for $49
Heath Row replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I have all the Sonible stuff from the start, I recon it's all great stuff, never really had any issues with any of it as I move along. But I use Studio One now, not SONAR/CbB/Sonar any longer, so things may be different there. I've always been interested in Scaler EQ, the idea is very interesting, gimmick or not? wouldn't have a clue. But like I said the idea is very interesting to me. The fact that it comes from the Scaler people(?) gives me faith, because Scaler, Scaler 2 are awesome products, so ScalerEQ gets a couple of points straight off the bat. I've just got to stop umming and arring and get it, it's cheap enough, I think I'll grab it today, if not this weekend, but there's soooooo much other stuff to check out and use, and all those TONEX packs to get to, hmmmmm, life just isn't long enough? -
Something I wanted to put in the OP but forgot, Experts Say "I thought I was listening to my speakers! Virtuoso fooled me. Amazing recreation. We finally have a translation tool that allows mixing with headphones". Bob Katz Mastering and mixing engineer, Author, President of Digital Domain I thought when a dude with a reputation as he has got puts his name behind something, well, I should check it out.

Yeah I have all the DearVR stuff, music, mix, PRO, and MONITOR, I think they are all excellent at what they do, I find VIRTUOSO to be easier or more intuitive, feel I guess, and of course sound quality.

For anyone interested in this type of stuff, this is awesome. The control you have over the placement and move ability of your sounds/tracks is mind blowing. You can have it all 'mixed'? down to 'stereo'?, the actual word evades me at the moment. But you can have things convincingly move all around, left, right(duh) up, down, front, back, movement throughout, it's truly an experience while in the DAW world. Anderton made a comment I think perhaps over on the Studio One forums about this stuff and how it's becoming a requirement, and how due to the way people, especially the younger ones, the up and coming ones, consume, listen to their music, via some form of headphone type of thing, that this is becoming an important part of even pure music applications and not just film etc. Listening to musical examples, songs using these abilities just makes things sound so good, so much better than 'just' stereo. I'll try and find what Anderton wrote about it and post it and the link back here. I have other plugins that do this type of thing, Studio One Pro 6 also does it natively but I haven't really checked that out as yet, but as for the plugs, this just seems to have an easier, better, more intuitive workflow. Check it out if you can or get the chance.

That's it, I like the sound of that one, not that I don't like the sound of this one, but Cassette644 has something going on that I like. I'll have to give this one a refresher Thanks ?

It's not bad, there's another one he mad which is better, can't recall the name.

It's not a huge task for a couple of people to stay on the same page is it? I thought it would be quite simple, but I guess for some it may be taxing? ? -

Heath Row replied to christian.landstrom's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Yeah, the 'divergence' would of course be an issue if only one was using CbB and the other Sonar, hence why I said 'both' -
Voxengo TEOTE Mastering Balancing EQ Plugin for $47.40
Heath Row replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I got pretty much all these kind of gizmos from the expensive to the cheap, can't remember the details exactly, but whatever the task was, TEOTE done the best job and without leaving any detectable artifacts or effecting any other parts of the track. Not saying it would be like that every time, but it certainly was this once and saved the day. ? -

That sounds right. Could also both use CbB -
I missed it last time, but this time it didn't get away mwahahahaha
