Nordic Noir is a huge new 3Gb Cinematic Crime, Drama & Action sample library from Zero-G based on and calling to mind the great soundtracks from that bleak and beautiful cinematic and TV genre. The sounds from the 32 construction kits have been cleverly created so that they can be interwoven and combined in innumerable ways. There are also extra pads, drumloops, piano and synths. Best small time sample library developers I should check out?

Not the typical sample library, but Free to Use Sounds is pretty cool https://freetousesounds.bandcamp.com/ -
Don't remember that, but I wouldn't put it past him - he's got a unique sense of humour. Can't remember who it was, but they did do some Halloween promotion - something along the lines of 'Halloween means scary prices' and increased prices (very temporarily).

I doubt that single sale was the reason T+S packed up seven years later. Too bad - I thought they were a good reseller. Even worse - all of the downloads they hosted/paid to host are no longer available. Luckily, all of the developers I've contacted so far were happy to add me to their customer database when provided with an email receipt.

I feel the ending was a let-down. Without giving spoilers, I can only say it chronologically didn't make sense.

Silence+Other Sounds. A little themed towards horror, but they sound fantastic. All sound great, but be sure to checkout Maleventum, and Transfer Pro. https://silenceandothersounds.com/products/ -
If I had neither and had to choose one, I'd probably go for Komplete first. Don't get me wrong - Omnisphere is brilliant, but getting Kontakt in addition to everything else in Komplete (e.g. Battery, Massive) can greatly transform your setup.

Never suggested otherwise - just saying it sounded fresh even though it was the same note being played ?

If you like futuristic sounds, these are really good. The Pro version has a (Full) Kontakt instrument where you can create your own sound combinations.

Toontrack Weekend Deals - ROCK! EZX & HEAVY ROCK GROOVES Midi
antler replied to Bad Penguin's topic in Deals
My first step is to open Toontrack Product Manager and do a quick search -
Cool. I suspected NA would download their setup file, extract a virtual CD image, mount it (I see Autoplay notifications during the install process), and then install it from there. Maybe they've tweaked the process.

If you have it, do you find WEDGE FORCE Matcha any good? Would it be worth it if I already have some OTS and AmpleSound guitars? Also does anyone know - are SPL Attacker Plus, De-Verb Plus, and Mo-Verb Plus just mini-editions of Transient Designer Plus?

Very nice; reminds me of Poe. I like the use of the reverse vocals near the beginning, and the backing vocals towards the end. Great mix. Well done!
-
Very cool. Haven't heard the original, but I enjoyed the listen. Great guitar work, paired with some versatile vocals!
-
Nice. Despite the pedal bass note throughout, it never feels old. Also the sparing use of the low bass guitar note keeps it always feeling a little ominous. Well done.
-
Interesting - looks like a cockpit-less Descent 3 from the video
-
Great work Jerry - I liked that. Very light and airy: I almost felt like I was floating along while listening to it. The vocalist has a really nice voice too.
-
Hi Barry Great song - it's catchy and certainly a toe tapper. Love the key modulations too: they keep things sounding fresh.
