You can always copy another default pro channel and make a preset called AAA.Default (The AAA will make it show up first in your preset list.) Pro channel presets are one of my favorite features in Cakewalk.

One thing to note, I made a mistake when re making my project templates from Sonar to CbB. I used Track templates that were created in Sonar Platinum . I also started fresh with those as well. I was having some strange issues and wanted to rule out everything. It worked.

I DO have over 300+ Project templates myself that I've built up over the years, so I know how you could have that many. I don't use any templates though that I created in Sonar Platinum. Yes they work, but I have found inconstancy's especially in the show/hide track status. It took me a long time to redo my templates (not all 300) and I use about 30 give or take that I keep loaded, the others are in storage drive D. Maybe you could figure out a similar arrangement. (keeping your best 50 in the project templates folder in the CakewalkCore folder.

The first thing I did when moving from Sonar to CbB was update my templates. I know there is still compatibility between Sonar and CbB but I prefer creating something as important as Project Templates in the current release, not using old Sonar templates. So I choose not to copy over my old Project Templates from Sonar. On a personal note: I have about 30 project templates that do almost any job + or - a few track templates to use within these projects to modify them a bit. I cant see how 180 Project templates could be needed. It might be time to thin out the heard.

I could be wrong but are you trying to view the clip in the step sequencer ? If so... Right click on the midi click and choose "convert to step sequencer clip"

To toggle between the last 2 edit filter selections - Hold down the SHIFT key and right click. Unless im misunderstanding something, I don't ever remember TAB doing this function.

I would try a few things, 1- Try to create an audio track (as you did) then duplicate the track/check your findings 2- Try to create an audio track(as you did) then make a pro channel preset and try to load that to a blank audio track/check your findings 3- Try to create an audio track (as you did) then make a track template and try to load that/check your findings This might not help you solve your issue right a way but it may hold a temporary solution and eventually lead to why you can add instances of those plug ins. Did you try adding other pro channel modules or was it only those 2 that wouldn't load ?

I grew up listening to Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin. Then I took great interest in bands like Metallica and Alice in chains. But I loved artists like Jeff Buckley, Etta James, Nina Simone and Otis Redding. However, when I'm given the choice.. 90 percent of the time I would rather listen to brutal, heavy rock.

Check to make sure you don't have a locked Screenset or a Lens preset loaded

Windows 7 updates and Bandlab Win7/compatibility will probably be phased out soon (just as XP was). I wish you gents luck, I personally loved Windows 7. Im using Windows 8.1 with great results. Its a great topic, a flash from the past when many just didn't want to leave Windows XP, myself included. Im not a big fan of Windows 10 but I will be upgrading soon. there's just no where to go holding on to older versions of windows. Even when Compatibility is there, strange things happen like White screens, oddity's, exc.

I use what Scook mentioned 90% of the time. But if they are a permanent fixture in your mix, you might want to look in to "Control groups"

Are you using any screen sets ? If they are locked, unlock them. It could be a corrupt Lens. Try opening Manage Lenses and see if you can edit "None. I'll take a look at it in a bit and try to get back to you.

oh hey.. just cause I might not agree with you on everything here, doesn't mean I don't respect your opinion. Everyone is different and has different needs, different beliefs, exc.

I think it would be great to have a Spanish speaking forum for CbB (a great way to expand to many users). But im not sure having them mixed in here is a great idea. A forum dedicated to CbB in all Spanish is a great way to gain popularity and reach a broad audience.

I cant remember if Lenses save FX bin settings but it may be a Lens that is saving the FX in a default off position. Do you use Lenses ? Try turning changing the Lens setting to none. Save/close + Reopen.

I know this is probably a reach but... Id like to see a Jukebox feature for this forum. Possibly a place to enter our music to be put in playing rotation.

I'll also throw this out there incase you didn't know... Clicking on the "H" key opens the track manager shortcut

The Track manager has never been a realtime operation. It has always been a selection/execution command. I do like the idea though. it would be nice to have in the multidock.

Doesn't really matter to me. I had 13,000 posts on the other forum but I was always more interested in how helpful those posts were to other people vs. the actual amount.
