I too thought of surf music when the song started. I liked your lead vocal, and it sounds like you have a nice work in progress here - I don't know if it needs anything more actually. Thanks for posting.

I was taught a long time ago to sing from the diaphragm of the chest - from deep down. I sit down when I do a vocal, but I lean forward and sing from the diaphragm. Once I learned that, I rarely need to use Melodyne. In fact, instead of using Melodyne, I usually punch in and sing the phrase again.

Lynn - Thanks a bunch for your comments and for listening. daryl1968 - Hey Daryl - thank you very much for your comments and critiques. Wookiee - Thank you very much for giving my song a listen. Jesse Screed - Thank you very much for your kind comments. Regarding influences, pretty much everything Rock 'n Roll - my parents are both rockers (going back to the late 50's and onwards), and growing up the radio was always on - so I guess I absorbed a lot of it through listening as a kid. thegaltieribrothers - Thank you very much for listening.

A song you wrote at 19 - that's cool - I liked the song and it's catchy. As far as the mix is concerned, I would like to hear more separation for the bass, but it's not that bad as it is.

I liked the fx on your lead vocal - reminded me a bit of Lennon's vocal on "I Am The Walrus". This tune is trippy man - very psychedelic. I thought the drums sounded better on the second version.
