You would be best logging in to IK directly and seeing if you have the $100 voucher when upgrading. You should. That should bring it down to $99

You qualify for Maxgrade, which is basically going from any MAX product.

I've tapped out...and I have Horizon and a ton of others....but I'm not paying WUP anymore...
I've never paid WUP and still have one cheap upgrade that I could maybe do if I needed to update, but I'm not sure I would bother either. I do have Horizon, as it was so cheap and a lot cheaper than WUP would cost me!

only platinum is cheaper than that in waves site
I think it's generally cheaper getting a custom upgrade quote from Audio Deluxe etc. though.

An ENDLESS ONE!
It really is unless you tap out! They actually do make some half decent plugins though, so it's slightly in jest, but also true 🤣
I really would love to see them drop WUP and sales boost for them for doing the right thing. I think they would gain so many more sales.
The recent freebie bundle from them at least shows that while they still probably have their heads firmly stuck in sand, they might at least be open to some change.

Thanks
I think it's likely like @Larry Shelby said and for TS4 Max owners, which as you mentioned you are now too.
I'd held off getting TS as I wanted to see what got included in the new version.

I *really* like their Fenders. The new Brownfaces are great, and the Blackface Deluxe Reverb is excellent too. IIRC, their Carr, Toneking, and Matchless captures are ones I get lots of use from as well. The flipside is that the UA bundle of four amp sims is on sale for $99, and their Deluxe Reverb might be even better. Their AC30 is also my favourite.
Interesting.. I've completed been ignoring those new UA ones and haven't even listened to them!
Thanks for sharing and I'll check out the ones you mentioned

Double crap...there was a $100 coupon available making it $99.99
Ouch!
What was the coupon for.. and is it tied to your account? 🤣

IIRC, TonexSE allows unlimited imports, and although the IK developed captures are fine, the Amalgam ones are far, far better IMO - so although I bought ToneX max, SE would have let me do what I want to.
Thanks Craig, I've heard a couple of people share that same view. I'm inclined to think that might be the way and then jump in to the already anticipated Total Studio 5.5 Max when they get around to updating some of the others!
Do you have any favorite captures from Amalgam so I can have a look?

I should have known it would come soon. The signs were there. But no, dumb me just recently purchased Total Studio 4 MAX upgrade and T-RackS 6 upgrade. If I had waited a bit, I could have gotten all of that plus PianoVerse for just 12€ more.
The writing was on the wall, but I was actually a little surprised to see it today.
I think just about everyone eventually gets a little burnt by buying and then a better deal gets released. I've been pretty lucky overall, but I've definitely got scars from a few! The great thing is, most of the time a year down the track, you never care and have them to use. Unless you feel the developer, or reseller screwed you over and then I'm completely fine blacklisting them and I'll never buy anything again.
I have learnt to ignore statements like 'We'll never discount it' or "Lowest sale price we'll ever do" though!

It's really inconsistent. Sometimes you can use jampoints in combination with deals, other times you can't. It takes the price down to 140Euros which is a steal...although I still don't think I'll bite. The ToneX collections and Pianoverse stuff looks interesting, but I have tons of Amalgam ToneX captures and more pianos than I have drive space for!
Interesting to know about the discounts and you sound pretty similar to me.. I'm a bit on the fence really. Mainly because I own so much of it already. Tonex and Pianoverse are somewhat tempting. It would also add a couple of the new MODO Drums and Basses, but I have the original versions and some of the newer individual ones.
It would be good to know what people think about the various editions of Tonex. Humble Bundle has SE and that's $30 in total. Obviously it doesn't include as many of the included captures, but are we really missing out on a lot. I have the metal pack for that already as well.

FWIW, at the moment IK is allowing jampoints on the intro price!
I checked that too... I take it that's not normal then?

Doesn't look like it:

Do you use it on tracks, busses, master??
You can use it on everything. It's really configurable. I paid £20 from memory and it's up there with some of the best clean sounding ones, but you can also drive it hard too. Great compressor. He could easily charge more than a lot of the more well known and expensive ones.
it's light on CPU, so completely fine across tracks too.

That's exactly what was new in Total Studio 4 vs 3.5. Did they just copy-paste the old text?
Was just thinking the exact same thing.. I don't think that is updated.. I also noticed this too:
T-RackS 5 MAX v2
Seems odd it wouldn't be 6

Awkward. I also have V Collection X and Pigments and my upgrade price is €199.
Same.. they make good sounding stuff, but their loyalty discounts are always a random mess and defy any resemblance of logic.

Not a bad deal. Old but still very good, and I have never found anything like their Focus Equalizer.
My only concern with these is that they will do the same as FET compressor and deprecate them so they're no longer supported pretty soon and offer a poor upgrade price.
