Komplete Kontrol playing multiple instrument at once

I'm new to mixing and recording and I was experimenting with Kompete Kontrol and Kontakt 7. I made 5 different tracks with Komplete Kontrol set as the instrument so I could sample sounds saved on my computer. The problem is, with each new track, Komplete Kontrol plays all the instruments used in the track before. How do I separate the sounds?

I don't use komplete control, rather I use Kontakt, however the principles are the same. You either need a separate instance of an instrument for each track or you have to load separate instruments into one instance and set them to listen to separate midi channels.
