Asio Drivers not working for XAIR 18

Henry D

Question

I have an Xair 18 mixer that I interface with my DAW. When I go preferences and try to change it to that driver in there, it only offers me the stereo 1/2 option. I use FL studio pretty regularly and in there I use an xair 18 Asio. So, when I click on the Asio option in Cakewalk, it doesn't show the xair's asio, just whatever the native one is, and I get the error screen that this driver is known to not be compatible. When I select it any, whala, it doesn't seem compatible. I can only see the channels greyed out and non selectable in the channels.  Also, it oddly changes my panning on my 1/2 channels in my Mixer, so when I go back to FL (cause that is working for me lol) I have to go back into my mixer app and fix the pan on the channels.

So. How do I use my Xair 18 with Cakewalk?

My son has the x18 and it works as planned in Cakewalk. Use the ASIO driver from the Behringer web site

And make sure your not using Asio4all  completely uninstall it if present .

select ASIO.
Also make sure the X18 is the timing master as well as the device in sync and caching
