My Birthday Wish

Talking of which......

What's the difference between Home Alone and Jo Malone?

Quite a lot apparently.

It turns out that my Spanish girlfriend didn't want a DVD for her birthday.

So many appealing curves - I'd love to have a strum on it right now.

I'm pretty sure some of those strings are not "bass".

You might be on to something there Greg.

I'm actually beginning to think there is no such thing as an "Alembic".

Serious question?

what did she sell for in 2002?

are they truly an investment?

Since that one is a custom build it's hard to say if it was an "investment".

My 'off the shelf' Series I sold new for $2000 in 1976, today a 1976/77 Series I tends to be in the $6-8K range.

This one is on Reverb right now for $5.5k, The body wood is rather plain compared to mine but other than the few worn spots it's a pretty good find for anyone who wants a 'vintage' Alembic for under $6K.

Here's my 1976 Series I

Fixed for those who did not get the implied "used" value I was referring to.
