OK, now that I've had a chance to check these out some... There are some really great sounding freebies here. Very nice clean tones to be had. They seem to be recorded nicely too. I find some of the user models have some annoying room tones that these don't have. Well worth investigating, imo.

FYI, looks like at least some of these collections have freebies you can download, without purchase.

These new collections are interesting. Seems like they'd have to sound pretty dang good, considering all the good ones I've downloaded for free so far.

That might be useful when I record live drums in layers. I have found naming/numbering confusing in the past.
yeah, it does get a little confusing.

Bit underwhelming, honestly.
This jumps out as interesting: "Improved naming and numbering of Takes on Layers"- 1

Not enough new to justify it for me. I'd be curious how different the optical and soft compression settings are.

Jep, but at least the cymbal samples need an upgrade.
Basicely I like XLN, it's a very user friendly company and the workflow of AD 2 is really easy to handle imho.
Oh don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to see AD3 come out. I'm pretty invested in AD2 and don't want to switch.

True, although not something I'll be jumping to get.

I enjoy the +10db comp on drums. Will likely get the Hoser XT upgrade as well.

Anyone else getting „log in to see your upgrade price“ despite being logged in?
Yes, their site always seems to do that for some reason.

I'd be surprised if I ever buy a waves product again. Buying Horizon was a mistake. I can "upgrade" Horizon, which I own, for ONLY $326

These sound really good to my ears. Hog on CPU though.

Thanks for your comment, RSMcGuitar. Overloud modeled the EQ84 after a famous Neve EQ which is how they configure all their EQs, having knobs arranged HF to LF, left to right.
Well, really they are configured top to bottom, in a console. They even have labels for a vertical configuration, with HF being the top.
-
The 84 must have been a freebie at some point., Because I have it.
One thing I really don't like about it is that the highs are on the left and the bass is on the right. Basically the opposite of every other plugin I own.
