Tonex puts them in some unknown location, you can move the files you downloaded once imported.
Which ones did you grab?
Great thanks!
I got the Bad Cat and Gibson Skylark packs.- 2

All the release notes in the app seem old.

Go to presets (not tone models)
Thanks! That did it.
Do I have to keep the folders in the same place or does ToneX actually import them to their own folder? -
So, I splurged and bought a couple of the ToneX packs... I have zero clue how I'm supposed to add these packs to ToneX. Anyone know?

I don't think it ever was.

I believe that they missed 6 because what was released as 5 was actually supposed to be 6, so they skipped
6 and went to 7.What are they, Windows?

Think I'm sticking with my Overloud Gem version.
Can't believe I'm at the point of not installing every freebie anymore đ¤Ł

I rarely download free stuff. It's gotten to the point I doubt I would learn or use 20% of my software before I pass away.
I feel that. I only D/L free things if they are from a company I'm already using.
I bought Arturia V Collection last year. That's definitely all the synths I'll ever need. I mean, I'm a guitar player anyway!- 2

I suspect the industry is getting pretty nervous about the economy.

I really like it and have gotten several free libraries over the years. I just wish they would give the interface a refresh, it gets a little cumbersome with the tiny preset window.

Iâm in (from MPS 5.1) as apparently iZotope are asking over $200 for upgrades from MPS 4 and 5.Â
Yeah, I'm on 4.1 and that's too much imo

Softube make nice stuff, but who in their right mind is paying $300 regular price for that compressor?

So I am trying to get it.
Seems there is a AUG2023 code that will take another 10% off. It's not letting me apply the code. Anyone else having issues with this?
No dice for me either.

What are the odds Overloud also puts this on sale and we can use the GEM code?

I suppose its inevitable they would do this one at some stage. I used to have the original hardware and sold it when the second hand price was at its rock bottom. If I had waited a bit I could have made a fair bit of cash.

You have to hit that sweet spot between "cool again" and "Behringer re-release" lol

The V Collection is extremely deep.

Cool, but I'll still wait for V Collection 10

I use the one from SSL:Â https://store.solidstatelogic.com/plug-ins/ssl-native-channel-strip-2
But if you're really specifically wanting the 4000 they have this:Â https://store.solidstatelogic.com/plug-ins/ssl-4k-b
Don't let the prices scare you away, they have some pretty great sales (though I'm not sure if the 4000 has been on sale yet)- 2
