Thanks - so if I don’t want to swap out valves and so on, or tweak the amps themselves, FX is an all in one package and the one I should go for?
If you're going for one or the other I would recommend Bias FX

Does roundtrip latency really make when using virtual instruments though?

If anyone does decide to WUP, do yourself a favor and check out Koby at everyplugin.com, he is a much better option than going through the Waves site.
That's what I did last time and it was indeed way better

So when was the last time WUP was on sale? I don't recall that happening this year.

But most companies would give you that support for free so your products work.

Only advantage there would be customer support might actually walk you through it if you pay them to get you to v11 across the board.
That's the most annoying part about WUP to me. I have never and will never use customer support but they want me to pay for it anyway. That's why I pay for the internet.

Also, remember, you get a Waves Voucher for the full
dollar amount you spend.I was going to ask this because I always forget. This makes it a lot easier to take.

Not that I think these will be anything but excellent... But how is every interface ever "Best in Class"

I guess I just wish I could get what I'll actually use and not stuff I won't

Yes! Thank you!

Was beginning to think this company was going under. Will be 2 years since a new plugin on November 7th. Bought the full bundle a year and a half ago thinking maybe they'd add something and I'm not sure it was worth it. Not that I don't love them.

I can't seem to find any info on their site about what actually comes in each version of Bias FX. It says 60 amps or whatever but that doesn't tell me much. I can't see anywhere that explains what product has celestion cabs.
Guess they don't want my money

Seems too expensive.

I would definitely wait.

If you buy the AR bundle it will also update chambers to the current version.

I'm sure this update was forced by the Mac OS 10 update...they probably
figured that, if they had to update for that, they might as well do a full
update in the process...yeah, that's what I figured as well. Kinda sucks for a windows user!

Yeah, this seemed like a ridiculously quick version update. Considering v10 did nothing.
Vast majority of my plugins expired on oct16, fml

You dare to challenge the great one?

I'm not sure I love the most recent update that overhauled the standalone interface. I kinda liked how simple it was. I also only use one set of headphones so it doesn't really necessitate a list.

Some weirdness on the Eventide site for sure. Somehow I ended up with two licences. Oh well... Great freebie by the looks of it.

That pocket is way to big for my IQ

This is way too cheap to be any good.

amazing-sounding
This is a fairly strange claim. I mean isn't this just a controller? How can a controller sound amazing?

I guess the number itself should have made that obvious... I'm tired! 🥱

But doesn't round trip latency imply input latency and output latency combined? (i.e. A>D conversion and D>A conversion) With virtual instruments there is no A>D conversion
