Damn, I'm getting there. Is that by calendar year (did you get your first $50 voucher in January)?

Nope. Last year is last 12 months in this case.

I  agree, at least you should have the choice of whether you want a $25 or a $50 voucher.

Exactly .  I am not greedy, I could use 50voucher as 25 one like 1:1... But unfortunately it is not possible...

You have probably checked the plugin upgrade offers? For me the prices are higher than what the plugins cost during a sale, but with a $50/$75 voucher the difference might be not so big.

I upgraded something what seemed to be most appealing to me but seeing full price for deals for people with $25 voucher lower than your upgrade offer is really discouraging.

This is another thing I don't like when there is a deal for an item upgrade prices for the item are not discounted so often somebody armed with $25 voucher has much better opportunity.

So for sure it is not loyalty program. Rather rescue program for people to let them spend less. And it is pretty logical, if you deserved for 'bigger' voucher means  you spend more so there is a need to stop you as you are going too far with plugin expenses. And I appreciate this care about me so I need respect it :)

Is there a known spending threshold beyond which you get the $50 voucher, instead of the $25 one?  Or is it one of those dark secrets that everyone's just trying to guess? Just so I know when to pause buying their stuff 🤪.

Yep. $300 spent last year for $50 voucher penalty.

Also, can't you just exchange your $50 voucher for a $25 one? There seems to be some interest in them on KVR, so it might not all be hopeless.

I doubt if anybody interested in it as PA is making during its valid time mostly single deals which are worth of attention...

Yeah, I know., they are great plugins and many of them worth the price.... But why person who spent more is offered with much worse deals? It is not appreciation I would expect buying more.

So still respecting their quality etc... but I have lots of plugins of different brands so if they want my money they cannot try to force me buy with worse deals than person who has no single PA plugin.  It is not nice...

I don't have to buy , they do need to sell. Its their choice...

I like AA model, after crossing threshold you got constant discount no matter what...  And they are sending they vouchers to provide this before every deal and most of updates (simple speaking very often). This is what I call appreciation from manufacture for buyer...

  5. So this is why our vouchers expired yesterday...

Considering I couldn't use in any reasonable way my $50 voucher on any single deal because of its limit and only good use for it is sale where there are more discounted products....

Well, PA seems to keep me constantly away of buying more their plugins what is great for my wallet :)

  6. Looking and another approach for such thing to improve workflow I am thinking more and more if DAW creators were doing something wrong?

Plugin creators using some great ideas for  improvement shows what is lacking in usage of our DAW fx bins, plugin browsers etc...

Why Mixbox isn't just built in DAW instead of fx bin? :)

No, no, I do not try to ask IK for creation of another DAW  ;) They are doing well as providing something what can be used in many DAWs

The UCX is usually $1599 new

Hm, so it is pretty rare example where US prices are significantly higher...

Whenever I was watching at that card prices (thinking of replacement my FF400 with UCX) in shops in my region it was about 1100 EUR (so ~$1280) with 23 % VAT included...

Hm, not following US prices but it looks like regular  price (not catalog) for this card.

At least in Europe (which is usually not place for hw lowest prices ).

It looks unique, I'll give it that

Well, I didn't mean GUI or great story behind of that  ;)

I wish I heard its uniqueness in mix in results I could distinguish from other tools work. Provided video just didn't convinced me.

Compressor, expander, dynamic eq I have already some variations of them. To be honest never used it on bass, maybe it is time to test what I missed.

But no way am I paying that kind of scratch for a transient designer.

Yep, the price is real (de)motivator here.  But BF not so far from now... A lots of time to test and change mind waiting for a deal. How knows maybe it is great thing.

I'm betting you can only use your WUPped plugins in it...  I don't know for sure - I haven't checked. But if that IS the case, I wouldn't be able to put anything into the "new" Studio Rack.  😛

Nope. Plugins need just to be at version at least 10, no need to be WUPed. I can load plugins v10 with WUP expired in 2019.

"Waves plugins: StudioRack v11 supports Waves v11 and v10 plugins. See our plugin compatibility chart and plugin latency chart"

Stupid question: what is considered a new PC by Pace, when upgrading your current machine?
    - Windows install
    - adding a Hard Drive
    - adding RAM
    - switch GPU

You are good with adding new hardware.

Also I think (at least so far) with windows installation as I can use freely iLOKed soft on 2 different Windows version installed on the same machine (multi profile env on PC)

I haven't quite figured out what the FIRE edition is yet, but here it is

    http://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/dynamic_processors/psp_infinistrip/

    2 September 2020
    PSP InfiniStrip     FIRE edition
    PSP InfiniStrip Mono     v.1.1.0
    PSP InfiniStrip Stereo     v.1.1.0

    BUG FIXES:
    1. Minor bug fixed.

    CHANGES:
    1. Added brand new SATURATOR module !!! (available in Limiters section),
    2. Added brand new BRICKWALL module !!! (available in Limiters section),
    3. Added hints to each control (hints can enabled on by clicking "?" in the upper right corner),
    4. Update PageTables for Protools AAX - added Compressor:Type parameter to central section of controller - mapped under HI Q (on user's request),
    5. Manual updated.

I wish I bought it at the very first intro price...

I was sure they would add eventually next modules... But they are doing it for free... Nice surprise...

  13. hmm...

what is lacking from my point of view:

gain compensation for every module (I mean automatic not manual :)

    module reordering

more than just 1 comp & eq at a time to chain for instance fat + opto
