Personnally i'm kinda dissapointed by the lack of serious updates for TH and markbass ...been pushing this to those gentelemens but it's slow ..

Very long ago I was asked them to make kind of obvious improvement  for TAPEDESK like adding possibility to manage whole groups of instanced for groups of tracks.

They agreed with me it is something very welcome and said it would be one of first priority. I was so happy... Fast forward many months (years?)  still lack of this so useful feature...

Hi hopes on AT 5 (cpu hit is my concern , so this dayz that for the first time in my life i'm 99 % close to buy an uad octo just to fre up some cycles for the rest ..)

yup, for non-UAD or non-Antelope users it is even bigger concern...  Cannot wait for test... Who knows maybe Zo will give us a shot about it with a video? ;)

Thanks for detailed response. I own TH3 Full. My guess is I can upgrade that to TH-U Metal from TH3 Full for the current upgrade price of $9. I know it is a dumb question but want to check before i buy, i will also ask Overloud.

Yes, please do. Then more people make them realize they are selling RIGs without giving opportunity to test them first (like temporary code or so) is pushing many people away of RIGs... Video with demoing is not good enough...

And it is - imho - another their selling mistake against RIG market...  You buy something in blind and you are disappointed you will probably not risk anymore and skip them all in future.  Simple like that

  3. Those deals are huge disappointment... To be honest they convince myself it makes no sense to invest in their products anymore...

only 1 gem at 29 rest 79 as with any previous deals? No discount with buying more etc?

    Well... Good... waiting for PSP...

They should really put some Rig Library Bundles up. Releasing  3 news ones at least once a month is just ridiculous.

They have problem with understanding they are providing something to very closed ecosystem and at some point it is too expensive to buy more...

They are doing no discounts if buying more, no bundle etc...

Losing money... And customers... No loyalty awards... Their choice... Lack of imagination...

Hold on to the questionable files for a month or two, and then scan again - the fool will either have been shown to be right (the others will also indicate the same result), or will have changed its mind. It doesn't even look like those three engines in the screenshot agree it's the same malware.

Yup, this is often used a way by me. Sometimes I am just skipping install not to be concerned at all (in case free software). I have zylion plugins so risk for a sake of satisfying GAS is not that huge dilemma.

Those three engines, Bkav, Cynet and Cybereason are all junk.  Honestly most of the engines are junk, but those guys get it wrong a lot more than most.

Yep, there are also some engines proudly claimed to have AI support (of course lol ) which  I have also caught with similar embarrassing action...

But anyway, there is a general rule... Even fool can be right from time to time. So even if they are trashes it doesn't mean they always will be losers...

It is good to be aware about aspects of things... I am concerned with some of automatic reaction... People are used to answers like 'it must be false positive' without any procedures to actually verify it...   It will lead sooner or later to disaster like a few times in the past with very good known brands...

  7. Using multi-engine online scanners we are getting from time to time positive results with malware warning.

It is always disturbing as it is hard arbitrary ignore them assuming most of scanners are saying it is ok it means ok...   But what if that one or  a few ones are right...

Well, there is something what can say a lot about accuracy some of those engines...

Not a regular method which grants 100% verification engine is ok as it has nothing to do with malware scan itself but it can say for sure points an engine is total ...

I did comparison scanning downloaded zip file from cableguys and unpacked it to scan with the same engines pure exe setup file...

Well, if engine is not able to provide consistent results in such tests it is worth nothing  of course... One can just pack infected with new or rare threat file and voila...

Here you are if you are interested in:

How do you get trial licenses refreshed? I trialled Nolly a few months back so trial not working for me now but itching to try it again

To be honest, I am not quite  sure.

I was looking at my list of licenses in iLok manager and discovered many my already trialed NDSP plugin have info like:  Expires 14 Days after activation - Trial extension

so I manually activated them and downloaded plugins to ensure it is working. And it is...

Run you iLok manager and look at your licenses list. Maybe you also have such entries (for NDSP or others).

It would be logical if they reset old trials to let people reconsider their decision because of their big sale...

The download will be available on December 7th.

The pre-order price ends on December 6th.

    so buying in blind... nice...

maybe I am alone here as many people have different opinion but not very impressed about their guitars vsts so  for me it is 'no way'.

And it is good news as  more and more deals coming but money in wallet still the same :)

Well the OBXd Freebie doesn't work, the Synth 1 gives a Server Error....blah blah blah...whatever

We can consider more enthusiastic interpretation...  Let's imagine we have installed it but never used since then...

Different path, the same result... It is our GAS Jedi order wisdom ;)

  12. For me Studio One upgrade to v5 is my main BF focus - waiting for a deal

BandinABox - new version expected after BF on the beginning of December but it will have an impact to my resources .

    Venom Phrasebox - done

    Forager - done

PSP InfiniStrip Fire but only if below $99

Maybe an amp from ML Audio. Still disgusted by their fake 'loyalty' voucher but they have nice distortion not piercing my ears.

The rest is pretty conditional and  depends on possible deals and wallet state.

    Thinking of IK L.A. Confidential

Maybe something from Acustica , Overloud, IK... if very good deals and still anything in wallet

Also cannot exclude unexpected GAS impulses especially in reaction to nice deals... :)

Hesitated between Gullfoss and Soothe to bring mixing magic and smoother tracks. Opted for the former and have been in mixing heaven ever since.
Gullfoss is the best “magicalizer” I know, together with Zynaptiq Intensity.

Hm, they seem to be quite different purpose to me.

I believe sooth is more suitable for fighting with unpleasant real resonances while gullfoss is thing more for polishing using psychoacoustic.  Like more for finishing touch on the end of the mix or master.

Recording at home means many thing to fix after  (especially where there is no good treatment). I was unable to do it with gulfoss. Pure dynamic EQ (like Melda's) was much better for this. But Sooth is dynamically also swiping frequency like little tracing a problem.  So when I tested Sooth2 I was pretty impressed.

  14. Sounds nice but with price for tonehub $199 well...

They will be producing more and more of packs so they need expand their market... Like Tone hub for $29  and extra bonuses for loyal customers (but real discount on top of deals)...

Otherwise they will end like THU RIGs... Lost potential to grab big market...
