Is that a phone question?  I don't see any new right column!

At least in my phone, it appears right below the first post of a new page. And because it was not dimensioned with the page layout, it clips the top banner.

I was gonna upload a screenshot, but I don't seem to be able to do it from mobile. After I select a file to upload, it deletes my entire post text, which then gets restored after I click the text box again.

I thought Devin/John answered that question well(and I am paraphrasing): in the box makes more sense recording because of the flexibility to fit it in the frequency window with multiple instruments, but an amp is really nice in front of you to inspire.

What annoyed me was how Rick essentially kept bringing that subject again and again as if what he got back the first time was not the answer he wanted to hear. That got old fast.

Is this better (cost and steps aside) than using Moises and just combining back all but vocals?

Moises does a pretty good job, but it is $39 (iirc) per year.

It performs the same if you use the Spleeter algorithm, which is what Moises and many other online services use.

Apparently, dark grey on black is a thing now?

Yes. It is a thing that breaks several accessibility standards, but why care about all those which have some sort of vision related handicap when you have to flex your graphic design muscles?

Also, in some threads you have this right column which steals screen space, gives irrelevant information to people that participated in the thread, attachments, who posted more and so on.

Now, the buttons for multi page threads are almost invisible unless you hover your mouse over...assuming you can actually see them.

The reputation thing has been removed, which renders post reactions as useless as the unnecessary space between your post count and avatar.

But the best part about is you can't ask or complain about those issue in the relevant forum section because it has been set to read only.

I can think of a few more, like maxxbass/renaissance bass, sibliance, torque, smack attack , Brauer motion, inphase etc

    - What MaxxBass/R-Bass do is apply a distortion to your signal  then high pass it in a parallel chain. you can do this with stock Cakewalk plugins even.

    - Sibilance is just a frequency specific de-esser.

    - Torque is a parallel notch filter which allows you to "tune your drums."

    - Smack Attack is a bog standard Transient Shaper.

    - Brauer motion is a binaural panner you can automate using LFOs and the like.

    - This plugin outclasses Waves InPhase and it's free https://plugins4free.com/plugin/3176/

Bear in mind you can have both multiple arrangements and multiple arranger tracks, so there's nothing stopping you using smaller sections at the start, committing your arrangement (or inserting it later in the timeline), then creating an additional arranger track with longer sections. You can then base your new arrangement on a combination of the longer/shorter sections.

It's a bit difficult to navigate by arranger sections when you have multiple arranger tracks, as there's no way to switch between them and the keyboard shortcut will only follow the one which is selected.

  7. While I have personally complained about the Export window quirk of selections having priority over presets, the other issues are a bit weird considering your claimed track score. You've been using Cakewalk since the 90s and you've never felt like reporting those sooner, especially considering you were a Cakewalk user when some of those were brand new features?

I think if that was the case it would be a whole lot easier to just get in the habit of checking the seat belts than to keep getting pissed off....

Considering you cannot get out of a properly adjusted belt unless you unbuckle it, the comparison is a bit of a non-issue and you'd only have that triggered if you are one of those people that buckles all seat belts even when no one is using them. In that case, you'd figure that issue sooner, rather than bottle all of that in for years only to rant about it 20 years after you've been running the car.

If you have a set  of tracks that have custom colors set already, changing Bus color will not overwrite these colored tracks.  So you will still not know which Bus they belong to unless you expand and search individual tracks.

"Follow Bus" is the default option unless you select default or other color. It's not ideal, but you'd have to set your busses before changing the color. Ideally, you'd have an option in the bus color dialog which forced all strips connected to the bus to be the same color as the bus itself.

You're right. I have the SE version, which I somehow got for free which includes the two models mentioned above.

Apart from that and the limitations of the model itself (only 20 frets), you get all the rest of the functionality, so having only one model is not much of a deterrent IMO. The sustain pedal issue is, though.
