banker man
in Songs
https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14770626
Well the banker man said he’d take the farm
Daddy tried to do the best that he could
And the rain just wouldn’t come
And the corn wouldn’t grow
Daddy tried to hold on as long as he could
The banker man came to take the farm
the heat it came and the corn it shriveled everything
and now we just don’t know
The banker man be coming pretty soon
The well dried up
Momma filled it with tears
The wind blew the dust and now it’s everywhere
The banker man will take the farm
Can’t get no relief from the local store
The notes come due and we know for sure
Seems the banker man coming pretty soon
Daddy got the shotgun
And said he’d stand his ground
Cause this dirt was what his pappy passed down
Mother gathered the kids
And hid out in the barn
She couldn’t stand to watch what was going down
Couldn’t stop daddy from what he did
Well the banker man came to take the farm
Didn’t seem quite right what he did
Well the shots rang out
And the blood was spilled
The banker man laying very still
That’s the day the rain started to come
That’s the day the rain started to come
And everything grew just like it should but the judge strung daddy up
Just as the corn was growing
Momma packed up the mule
And led us down the road
Didn’t seem quite right what the did
Didn’t seem quite right what the did
Didn’t seem quite right what the did
When the banker man came to take the farm

rusty scalpel cuts to the bone
for all to see what you've become
not so sure if the wound will heal
but it doesn;t really matter
because you bled out long ago
rocky crag from which to bound
on wings of spittle and hopes of smoke
thirty minute climb for the three second fall
you're back where you started
broken and un whole
smoke and mirrors
and empty bottles
broken promises and busted dreams
you're standing there naked for all to see
pity yourself and remember when
the cloth was whole
but the stain was there
why did you ever fall upon your knees
The devil whispers sweet nothings in your ear
two arms to cling too
the talons take hold
restless death grip upon your soul
and futile is your squirm

Well, I'm admittedly a little off-center today because this morning
I can just hear Santa saying the same thing when he misses Christmas!

Why don't they do this where I live?

I had never heard of Phil Keaggy until last night at about 2 am. The jam is long but stellar guitar work all the way through if you have the time. Some real cool stuff about 13:00. Has anybody ever heard of these guys?

Well, it was either go commercial or just pull all my music off the internet and go silent forever.
if only one listener loves me it was all worth it, and if nobody likes it, well, that's cool too.

Talking about promos, bandlab has 30% off membership including backstage pass that includes both Sonar and Next for 104.99 for the first year.
It doesn't get any better than that for pricing.

I am so thankful for all the free years that CbB has provided, and this is my thank you song. This was all recorded in CbB.

They have to have a set cutoff point to all aspects of development and support to a product that will soon be only a courtesy of the people responsible for sustaining this fab product. It is time for us all to move on. With the work they allotted, this is the end of fixing for Cakewalk by Bandlab. Wonderful memories, much gratitude, tons of music, and looking forward to this products future which is now Sonar By Cakewalk!
I basically feel the same way as you do Keni. I have loved my years with Sonar, starting with Sonar 6 and all the iterations after that including my Lifetime Updates that I purchased. CbB was great for me and I am excited for the future and to see what the new Next and Sonar are.
When you do the math it could very well be "less than the total cost one double latte a week from your favorite coffee vendor per year," to continue using my favorite DAW.
We all have an individual tolerance for ambiguity, some more, some less.
I look forward to the future.
Peace!

There will be no rollback installer for this release.
Well dang nabit, I know all about buyer beware, but jeepers. Is this really true? I can read, and it says no rollback installer. But is this for the latest early access which is causing issues?
If so it is now time to find a different solution.
I still have my lifetime Platinum somewhere.
Surely this will be addressed and fixed.
