I'm having trouble with "Freeze" on audio tracks.

None of my UAD plugins are Freezing correctly after updating to 2022.02. I have many UAD plugins on audio tracks that are Frozen, but the 'UAD Meter & Control Panel' is showing the DSP & PGM load is maxing out (on some projects the load is totally maxxed and I get the "One or more UAD plug-ins have been disabled" notification). The screenshot below is a test project I made with six tracks of drum loops and only UAD plugins in the FX racks. I froze the tracks and saved the project. You can see the difference in the DSP usage in each CBL release version.

Updated to 2022.02...

Rolled back to 2021.12...

I've rolled back to 2021.12 and my UAD plugins Freeze without any trouble.

Any thoughts?

I'm also getting crashes from the new  Cakewalk update. None of my projects will open and I'm getting the message below. When loading a project, everything seems normal... all the plugins load up, and then when it gets to "Loading automation" it stops and displays the crash message. When I click OK, the message goes away but then it says "Project successfully opened"... but the project does not open.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm on a MacBook Pro, Windows 10 Bootcamp, UAD Apollo Silver (Thunderbolt).

Also, where do you find the minidump file?

I tried for hours two years or more ago and then gave up.

I don't remember if I submitted a trouble ticket back then, but after Cakewalk went out of business I figured it was a lost cause.

Maybe the BandLab team will give it a look?

Hi bassface,

I was also unable to get mute automation to work with X-touch on Sonar Platinum and Cakewalk BandLab. I figured it was a bug that never got addressed so I just ended up doing mute automation from Console view.

A while ago I made a Sonar (Cakewalk) overlay for X-touch using the help files and photos of Mackie overlays. I've attached a screenshot for your reference.
