  1. I don't really want or need duplicates, but, since it's a Group buy, I'd be happy to give away my extra slots to people I know.
  2. It's a dangerous set of mind. 🙂 I'd rather thank them for creating this plugin. 🤗
  3. When I bought MCabinet hoping it to be a regular IR loader with 6 slots for IRs, I was very surprised and upset it's not what I expected. I requested a refund, but the good folks at Melda refused, saying, "you should've demoed it first" and "we don't do refunds for already registered licenses". So I decided to give this plugin a try and guess what - it's super useful! Now it's my goto virtual cabinet, coupled with Celestion IR library I have. I get excellent results, much better, than what was possible with normal IR loaders, including the WoS.
  4. I doubt you may use it for videos. We are not allowed to publish works with these stems involved.
  5. Vouchers are nice to have if they get you something useful. Hopefully they'll have a flash sale this month too.
  6. or ... for you favorite plugin vendor with every plugin you buy.
  7. Gotta get me some British Classics.
  8. This Sonivox offers many nice to great sounding instruments, but the poor UX turns people away from using it. The only Sonivox VI I have no complaints about is the Eighty Eight Ensemble piano. All other libraries are ruined by poor programming. What a drag!
  9. That's exactly what I meant by saying, that AT4 is mix ready. 😀
  10. Interesting. Zo asked about my personal experience, I replied and gave my reasons. Don't you think it was rude to generalize my response and compare it with a stinky little hole? I mean, unnecessarily rude. Yes, some people are more sensitive to the outer world and others are less, to the point they can't tell false from in tune or even black from white. We all are different. Peace!

    XLN Updates

XLN Online Installer, AK2 and AD2 are updated. No new instruments on the horizon. Looks like a regular maintenance update.
  12. Did I mention ReValver? Most amp sims sound great nowadays. But only RV4 responds to pick attack like the real thing. Oh, almost forgot! STL Tones (former Ignite amps) make some great stuff. Too expensive for what it offers, but honorable mention nonetheless.
  13. It is good. Not superb or excellent, yet usable for some bluesy stuff. Good for slide playing and even can do some Brain May tones.
  14. You can try ReValver and see if you like it. All modules are available for demo. Only real limitation is that you can't save your settings for modules that are not licensed. RV4 has a spectacular power amp emulation. It is fully functional with free amps that don't require any purchase. Full ReValver has lots of great cleans. Even free amps are very usable for that purpose.
  15. I have it. AFAIK, the original amp is designed with power amp saturation in mind, which is not the strongest side of most amp sims, including BX (Nembrini) plugins. Only ReValver has got it right. GR5 is close, but not spot on. All other developers use some simplified approximation of power amp impact on the overall tone and feel.
  16. Jon Lord loved guitar amps! $5 or $25? Have they got rid of their license transfer fee?
  17. Spent my voucher on this one. It's a tone heaven. And unique. Not just yet another SSL knockoff. 😄
  18. Thanks for your video, Zo. My impression of Overloud is that the 'overall approach' is about being silky smooth and precise, while Waves' plugs are transparent and punchy. Generally speaking. Your review proves this point.
  19. Actually, I'm OK with that. I also think, we must support developers we like with our money, loyalty and spreading the word. But since it's a group buy, I'd be willing to share my slots with other people, if it were possible.
  20. I still have 4 unused slots. If this GP will hit its last landmark, I'll have 6. I wonder if they can be used somehow.
  21. I never owned or played real Bassman or Chandler, but I do like Brainworx implementations. Since you don't play the guitar yourself, I would suggest to stick with Amplitube because, although other ampsims may sound and feel a bit (or quite a bit) better, Amplitube tones are mix-ready, i.e. require less hassle to make the mix sound good. That's just my experience, of course, so take it with a grain of salt.
  22. bx megasingle and megadual blow the competition out of the water. I'd use them for heavier stuff, if I played it. 🙂
  23. I did. Official Mesa Mark models are a lot better than the old ones. As for Rectifier models - it depends. In most cases I prefer old ones. Here the main lead theme is processed with the Metal Lead T. https://www.bandlab.com/soundwise/alisa-miller-secret-d6057
  24. Got it from everyplugin. First of all checked the Finger Bass. It's not perfectly in tune according to the ET system, but it definitely sounds like a normal bass. Not as versatile as Ample Sound or IK MODO basses, but very usable nevertheless.
