I was missing woodwinds. Now I got them all. Time to make some awesome music with these.

IIRC, there is no choking with hi-hat, which makes these drum-kits a waste of drive space.

Thanks for sharing!

I was like, hell yes, they changed my life man. I feel like making love, oh yeah!! 🙂
Just kidding, i wound up listening to some of their back catalog. He was a good vocalist that Paul Rogers dude.
Here is a track, using TH-U for all guitar sounds. Not sure about bass, though.

"Some competing products offer a low-quality mode to preserve CPU. We do not do that, as such a mode would neither live up to Softube's quality standards nor to the quality standards of our partnering companies, such as Doepfer and Intellijel. Softube's reputation for being heads and shoulders above the competition is what convinced our partners to work with us in the first place."
Interesting statement. Overloud and Plugin Alliance products barely use any CPU yet still deliver superb processing, second to none, dare I say.

For reference, Microsoft will continue to support at least one Windows 10 release until October 14, 2025
By that time W11 is bound to get mature enough. But, as soon as majority of users move to W11, MS will introduce their next OS. Probably, something with winDar kernel, native support for M1 chips and hopefully fully implemented Thunderbolt support.

Is there a "Paul" vst that comes in later and re-records them?
I'm in the market for "Imagine" VST to lift off some boundaries.

All you need to read the stored data is a microscope and polarizer
Request. Please, whenever you post a deal, make sure the product doesn't require having a microscope and polarizer!!!

@Soundwise - I can repo. I'm on vacation next week, but I've sent Noel my steps to reproduce.
Good to know! Thank you!

No aux tracks. A very simple project with just a few tracks. I'll share it ASAP.

What happened to the Solo Exclusive mode? It doesn't work the way it used to. Have there been any breaking changes that I might have missed?
Currently, when I enable SE mode, set desired tracks to always on with Shift-click on corresponding Solo buttons (I think it's called solo override) and then try to toggle between other tracks by clicking on their solo buttons all I hear is only one of the soloed tracks. All other tracks are muted, regardless of the Solo Override setting.

I can't see any benefits in using obsolete 1930's vacuum tube technology either.
Or the thousands-year-old technology of making sounds by blowing through a cylinder or rubbing tensioned strings together or plucking them.
Oh, wait.....
Hmm... I was talking about signal quality while processing recorded performance and you are talking about age of technology and making sounds.

I see them as fancy saturation plugins...
That's what they are. Maybe I just don't want that style of saturation in my tracks.

I’d give my X-pedals for these Tapes anytime.
I thought X-Gear series is meant to be Amplitube in a box. Having a software version of a hardware version of the original software version is kind of gimmicky to me. No offense intended.
As for tape machine emulators, I genuinely tried to find a place for them in my workflow, but eventually had to give up. Can't see any benefit of mimicking tape style signal degradation.

Looks like they've modeled Marty's amp.
Not bad for just $300.

Opticom is great , did ya tried the orange amp , i don't use AT bass amp that much either but the Trace Elliote , the orange and the Fender are exellent
Sure! I have IK Orange collection and do think amp emulations there are great, although cabs are not so much. I also tried Orange emulation by bx and, unfortunately, not impressed with it. I think AT, RV4 and Black Rooster have excellent Orange amp-sims, arguably, the best up-to-date.
As for IK Fender and Trace-Elliot, they still feel more like pedals than real amps, lacking that sheer dynamic range, creamy compression and juicy roar. Same is true for all other Fender amp-sims, which doesn't mean that you can't get great clean tones out of any of them.

I don't dig Amplitube bass amps. They sound kind of funny to my ears. Surprisingly, GTR3 is still alright for bass guitar processing, although normally I just use Opticom XLA-3 and a bass IR.
