I couldn't remember what Ableton used to cost, so put "Ableton Live 11 Suite" into Bing and clicked the shopping tab. First two hits were a site with it listed for $70, so I checked to see if that is a legit site (supposedly is), but left me wondering how they got the serial numbers. Ironically, Bing doesn't point you to any reseller you would expect to see, so I didn't get my question answered :(

And the Meldway Grand delivered pretty big on that promise.  Everything I've seen suggests a plan to build the platform offereings out.  Given that he can sell individual instruments to those not invested in the entire MSF, he also has motivation to add more.

But also would be nice to see other devs or just end users create and share too.

Agreed that the motivation and commitment is there.  I'd just like to see it financially driven/supported by more customers coming on board.

You can make your own libraries.   I have yet to mess with their synth,

This is true, but the lifetime updates with free addition of instruments was certainly a major selling point of MSF.

  4. Waves appears to have conveniently ignored the fact that I unsubscribed from any/all email communications with them subsequent to their recent buffoonery.  If they can independently WUP my unsubscribed emails, I think they should go ahead and WUP all my existing plugins too.

    Good times.

Could someone please confirm, is this voucher one of the ones that has a minimum spend of $79, or just straight up $20? Is it the same voucher that got sent out March 1st?

Just straight up $20. I couldn't resist and despite a desire to hold out cashed mine in on a Falcon expansion that was on sale at the time for 29. It wasn't a bad choice.

Well the code works with Novum, but 40% off $179 is still $107.40.

IF you stack it with Kult, it's like 140 something due to a bundle discount adding to the savings.  That's not a bad price. I'd jump on it if I had the funds right now.

That said, I'm really looking to score Novum mainly and at a price point below $60.

  7. I find it somewhat irritating that they don't credit third-party reseller purchases toward their voucher calculus.  Registering a new product in one's account should be enough to trigger the same benefit.
