  1. I was cleaning up some old Cakewalk files on my external hard drives and came across this little number that I did a few years ago.  It is a little, fun soft-rocker.  The mix was rough , so I tried to clean it up.  Hopefully, it is a little bit more presentable.  As always, any comments and suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

  2. I believe that I recall this song when you posted it on the old Cakewalk Forum.  It was just a pretty then as it now.  But  --- can you ever have too much reverb???  I know  --- how dare I say that with my penchant for the overuse of  'verb on vocals.

    Nice one Bjorn!!

  3. What a very sincere and pretty song!  I love it when that keyboard (?) comes in.  Actually, I think that you have done a right nice job on the vocals.  It is delivered in a very honest style and brings out an image (at least to me) of a guy all by himself declaring his feelings for a special one in front of the whole darn world.  Nicely done mate!!!

  4. The mix sounded fine to me  -- I am assuming that you must have re-worked it.  I love the sound of this song.  Everything about the instrumentation further develops and complements the lyrics.  Song flows and has a great chorus (hook) that I believe would make this very commercial.  Perhaps the thing that I like best about this number is that it is not overstated in its presentation.  The entire song draws one in with out flashy lead breaks, screeching and screaming, and vocal notes are not held for 20 minutes at top volume.  BTW the background vocals really add to the song. The only suggestion that I would have is in agreement with some of the suggestions above  --- perhaps a lead over the repeat of the intro chords might help.  Anyway, very nice work!!

  5. This is a bit different and experimental approach from you my furry friend.  Metamorphosis indeed  --- from a rather melancholy caterpillar beginning to the rather joyous flight of sounds of a butterfly.  As usual your ability to use various sound to express emotions kept my attention for all 8+ minutes.

    Nice one!!
