    Hmm ... I'm still on 1909.

Am I missing out on anything (other than potential problems)?

I'm still on 1903 with my main machines, my laptops are on whatever Microsoft has dished out, the Laptops are nothing important so I don't really care, but they seem to work OK. Not that they get used for anything other than going on the Net and downloading files etc. Haven't noticed anything undesirable, I don't look into any new stuff that gets added or anything like that, If the laptops were running Pro they would likely still be on 1903 as well.

I'm an educated consumer and understand the procedure just fine and own 35 WAVES plugins.

Yes, you show your education in pretty much every WAVES thread I see 🤣

    WOAH!!! a whole 35? . . . 😁 Hold him back!!!

  3. Also the ^^'Locked to a single machine'^^ thing is bullshit, for starters any plugin you buy you get a 2nd license (sure it's only for 12 months while WUP is current, but re-WUP will fix that at the end, and it is a 2nd license) also you can install on as many machines as you like, just put your licenses on a USB drive and switch to what ever machine you like.

    Keep WUP'd and you'll always have 2 licenses, most you'll pay is $240 a year, $4.61 a week, pffft.

    No.

And that PluginBoutique freebie, Royal Comp that someone mentioned, IMO not in the same league unfortunately.

Somebody has responded 'Cakewalk also sucks big time, is still bugged out, not withstanding what has been done in the last 2 years or so. It's clunky, still requires a plethora of workarounds for stuff that doesn't work as it should. Up until the latest release the update mechanism would never work correctly, requiring you to uninstal that pathetic BA, reinstall it and hope for the best, and or manually download/install Cakewalk itself, it's pathetic. One could go on and on.
Well done on leaving it out.'

A bit harsh I feel ( apart from the bit about BA perhaps)

hmmm, I don't know, I think a good number of people even around here feel that way, and on the outside . . . well . . . load up on ammo and fill your saddle bags.

Like for example the following post from pwalpwal, said somewhat in jest, but I think it's safe to say its mixed with a good amount of true feeling.

Seeing how Beyond My Daw will be disappearing in a few days, and such my above link will no be alive, I'll add the following screen capture of the post in question, so at least anyone stumbling upon this thread will be able to understand a little better.

  6. If you do them at the same time to the same person you are only charged once.

Different times will of course incur multiple charges, and to different people will incur multiple charges.

That's basically what OVERLOUD told me when I transferred my Mark Bass 2/TH2/TH3/TH-U and RIG libraries, all were to the same person at the same time and I was only charged one fee.
