Hmmm.... I ordered yesterday and still haven't received anything from JRR... I think they've been slow before for me but I can never remember between all the different sites.

I ordered yesterday 5.30pm UK time and the redeem code arrived at 5.54am this morning UK time.

So that's just over 12 hrs but it might have been same day for Uncle E as I think he's in California which is 8hrs behind UK.

I have had to email them before about delayed serials but they usually reply pretty quickly after that so might be worth a try if you don't hear anything soon.

    Very cool and congrats ZT!!

There's a lot to tweak (if that's your thing) but if you don't like to, can get some good sounds with minimal adjustments.

Cheers Mesh! I spent ages on the presets alone with a few tweaks here and there. Some great effects and of course the amps in BA Pro 2 are also ace. I am getting a very pleasing crunch sound.

Those are some very nice prices and I paid a bit more for my upgrade to Elite. Go for it boys, it's worth it! :D

Hey Mesh, I went for Bias FX 2 Pro and really pleased with the tones I'm getting out of this beast 👍🏻
That Guitar Match is also pretty cool - turned my Tele into a Les Paul (well almost) 🎸

but can you select only plugins that have an upgrade available ?

That's one thing I never understood with their Plugin Manager. It must be one of the few that doesn't allow you to only download/update the plugins that need it.

It's why I still update manually for PA plugs --> check version of plugins available in my account then check version installed on my PC and only download those that need updating (which is a pita).

I even emailed them about it as I'm sure others must have but it still works the same way with the new update. 🤔

I did not see the coupon in my account, not a big deal. I got as far as checking out three packs and the website crashed while entering my payment details. Seems its still down. I am not sure if the payment went through or not. I will check later.

EDIT - Back up again now. The purchase did not go through first time. It went faultlessly on the second attempt.

Thanks for the update. I just tried to buy Japan's Vintage again and it worked fine this time and installed OK.

I've been waiting for a sale on Output's stuff and it's here!! I'm a bit torn between Exhale and Signal.

Exhale is such a good vocal engine, but Signal is more useful. What to do, what to do, I want both!! :)

Sweetwater also has them for $149 each: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/EXHALE--output-exhale-modern-vocal-engine

That's a tricky one Mesh. I bought Heavyocity's Vocalise Gravity Pack 2 soon after I bought full Kontakt but have rarely found a use for it.

I wished that I had gone for Exhale instead with all of the expansions you can get and since then I have tried the Signal demo which is also pretty impressive.

If you are feeling flush Output are doing 65%+extra 25%  off their full suite again on their website --> https://output.com/products#instruments

Let us know how it turns out.

    I received a reply saying

    Quote

Japan Vintage expansion is released by Nori Ubukata. You can purchese it from https://www.kv331audio.com/synthmasterexpansions.aspx#

So I don't think he understood me as that was exactly where I tried to buy it from in the first place!

I have replied to his email but this time placed the above picture of the failed transaction in-line in my reply rather than as an attachment which I am guessing he didn't see last time I sent it.

Also forgot to say yesterday, if anyone is using anything other than the default skin you might not see the "purchased" tab. That happened on the skin I was using so I had to switch back to default to be able to select the purchased tab and see the "refresh my licenses/restore my expansions" options in the browser.

    Congrats on "Everything"!

I have had the "Everything Bundle" for a while, so I checked my expansions in the SM browser, then did the "refresh my licenses" thing from the context menu.

I now see all of the expansions except for Japan showing as "installed", with Japan showing as "available for purchase".

Thanks abacab! Yes I remember you getting "everything" and couldn't think of anyone more deserving 👍🏻

The everything update was painless..."refresh my licenses" followed by "restore my purchases". Then after a few minutes of downloading, Bob's your uncle 🤓
Now going through some of the amazing presets...I could be here some time 😁

quick update on the 'missing presets' saga

after a bit of backwards and forwards with waves support (including the 'why not reinstall everything' type responses) - they eventually said

"Turns out the presets are indeed missing from most plugins - thank you for pointing it out for us.

We should release a fix for this in the next few days."

here's hoping - although I'll never get those hours I spent manually importing them back :)

Thanks for this. I am still in discussion with them about the presets but the last email they sent was trying to get me to install them manually which doesn't move things any further forward so I guess I will just hang on for the update you mention.

So the Japan Vintage is the only expansion not included in the Everything bundle?

Seems a bit confusing husker. Within the Synthmaster UI it says that the everything bundle includes all current preset banks and then says that there are currently 31 (but I reckon the Japan expansion makes it 32). On the website it says that there are 32 expansions included in the everything bundle https://www.synthmaster.com/synthmastereverythingbundle.aspx which implies that Japan is included. I think the latter is correct (see below)....

Amazingly, when I contacted KV331Audio about the coupon thing above they checked my account and upgraded me to the everything bundle! Way to go KV331Audio! Makes he happy to have supported them by purchasing their stuff.  They also said that I do not need to purchase any additional preset banks so I assume that Japan is included but hasn't yet been rolled out via the Synthmaster update process.

"Your credit coupon earned for having purchased SynthMaster Player from us"  and I received this email   on October 19.

Ah I see, so it looks like it is linked to the recent offer on SynthMaster Player which I ignored as I already own the full version.

    Thanks iScream

Think I will pick up the new Nori expansion as I have all of his others.

  12. Waves support did get back to me and have now resolved the minor issue I had getting this popup on scanning...Waves_issue_Oct 2019a.jpg

If any of you get this the solution was simple...

    1.    Hold the [windows key] + R and type %programdata% in the pop-up window.
    2.    Go to Waves Audio > Modules folder.
    3.    Locate and delete the WavesLicenseEngine.bundle file.
    4.    Launch Waves Central and install any plugin from the install products page (this will re-create the WavesLicenseEngine.bundle file).

Do a full scan and it should now be fine.

All of my V9, v10 and V11 plugins work fine.

I did the same thing Zinc about 2 years ago.

Yes I think it was on your's and other's recommendation that I bought it Grem. There are quite a few knowledgeable owners on this forum and of course the Rayzoon forums. Ralph, who is behind Jamstix, is also very responsive and active on their forums and puts out regular updates and addons.

It is quite a unique product and the way it works really appeals to me. I am hoping to put that Dark Side addon to good use in a remake of a very old cover I did of Comfortably Numb.

I’d jump on it if only I could grab Jamstix on sale.

If you wait until later in the month Yan they usually have their annual 50% off sale starting around then and running until the end of the year.

I bought Jamstix Studio in last year's sale around that time.

Would you use this instead of creating volume envelopes by hand?

You can use it like that and having given it a bit more of an in-depth try it seems to produce good results.

However, one area where I find Waves Vocal Rider better, unless I am missing something in Voice Leveler, is that you can record the rider automation. Once you have recorded the automation in Vocal Rider you can then tweak it manually afterwards to make it exactly how you want it. Some automation parameters do appear in the automation menu for VL (e.g. output gain) but they are not the right ones to be able to record level variation automation.

If you don't need automation though, for a quick volume leveler Voice Leveler does work well and is definitely worth $9. I like the zoom UI option (100%, 150% and 200%) which I wish more developers would implement.

I'm guessing Dark Matter and Death Metal. Death and Darkness is an SDX.

Thanks. I'm just looking through the vast number of EZXs and Drum MIDIs and realizing that I have quite a lot of catching up to do!

I even have a spreadsheet for it now as I also do for EzKeys 🤓
