Forgot to say thank you to Douglas! I appreciate it!

nice modulation! Looks like you had fun.

David's entry had humor, it referenced the genre of science fiction (robots), it had a melody that one could recall, it had genuine surprise at key moments (the others only superficially created surprise). Also, David's had multiple levels of ideas going, whereas the others only had one main idea throughout. I'm only comparing to the runner's up. I'm sure out of 11k there were probably over 1k that were great, but why blame spitfire? :D:DCompetitions only give an approximation of a meritocracy. Really it comes down to who you know don't it?

Thx Lynn.

The poor spitees have to deal with 10999 composer egos. They're all griping on the you tube where paul announced the winner.

Calum I think you've expressed the pandemic perfectly! You use repetition effectively in this.

Most of the pandemic stuff is anemic but this is soulful and thoughtful. Great tune.

I never understood why spitfire has all these slowly evolving textures libraries. But this sounds really magnificent on a good set of speakers. Thank you for sharing.

Andy good to see you. Eclectic wasn't really the goal so I may have failed. :(. But glad you remembered it! Hope you're enjoying the apocalypse as much as I am.

I love your tone and style. This is my favorite type of jazz, and you've done it good. :D:D

I like the bass part and would like to hear that better, not sure if its my listening environment or if the bass sound is dispersive and low in the mix. Just the thing for a Tuesday escape.
Treesha, so nice to see a new face (also female.) Glad you could relate to this.
