  1. Hey y'all.. Good news.. I am investigating upgrade to windows 11 Pro (win 10 is barking at me all the time, my system is more than compatible) however, I did ALSO research the changes and the new taskbar will not move anywhere from the bottom.. YAY.. solution.. get the free app called "Winaero Tweaker" It will enable and disable features in windows 7, 10, and now 11. There's an option to force windows 11 to use the windows 10 taskbar and start menus, so after enabling this tweak, I can move the taskbar anywhere I want, and still have windows 11 under the covers. This is a fantastic tool!! I've used it for years, and is always one of the first apps I install on a new PC. I like controlling the mouse, so all I have to do is hover over another window and it comes into focus, and I don't have to click it to activate it.. you can control how many milliseconds, before it's active (when it's too fast, you can't get to the dialog boxes fast enough, and they disappear.. So I slowed it down to 800-1500 ms.. perfect.. Check this out !! it's a great utility to always have on your PC
  2. WOW.. guys.. I NEVER EVER considered the "K" for muting and unmuting.. IT IS NOT OBVIOUS.. If were to MUTE a track using the "K" as stated, why is the NO OTHER indicator that it is muted? [M] should have been set to on, if that was the case.. this is a very very poor design.. An interface should be easy to work with, software that doesn't indicate it's state needs to be repaired.. why make your customers work so hard.. This is not documented, btw.
  3. Ever used something like BLENDER 3D modeler? They added a new facility to edit most all components/parameters etc by showing a graphical representation of the data flow. In the case of Patch Points (for one) each track/aux/buss could be represented in a graphical display, and showing all the routing from source thru to project outputs. It could also show all the patch points and where they go, as well as the ability right there in the graphical representation to rename or move them around.. If you have a project with 32 tracks/auxes/busses/patch points (inclusive) what a nightmare tracing down the routing; the only way to do it is inspect each track and note where the source is, write it down, and hunt for the rest of the signal flow sources and the destinations.. it's a trial and error and usually a very involved and time-consuming; Can we have something like that added? All the information is there inside (under the hood) it's a matter of collecting that data and represent it graphically ; show the complete routing of any one track/aux/patch point or buss.. (Box to box with lines connecting between them.. signal flow .. What could be easier? how about that Bandlab, eh? cheers.
