    Delete markers ?

I can not take screenshot of the arrow to show you, because Windows doesn't include mouse cursor on screenshot. You need to hover on top area of the marker, slowly move it around until it turns to M like my previous post.

    Delete markers ?

Hover the mouse cursor to the marker until the cursor turn into something like this : M <-||-> Right click on it, then press Delete
  3. You need "tone generator" to play MIDI. Either external MIDI synth, or softsynth. Cakewalk comes with bundled default softsynth called TTS-1. To make it simple, in Cakewalk menu, click Insert--> Softsynth --> Cakewalk --> Cakewalk TTS-1. Then route your MIDI track's output to that TTS-1 track to make sound.
  4. Another good option. However they are listed around $160-$190.
  5. That's why people invest in jog wheel control surfaces. If you happen to get access to ebay, there's many Frontier Tranzport for sale under $50. The product is discontinued, I'm not sure if it works in win10, but I know it still work without problem with win 7- 8.1 x64.
  6. The "boxed mouse cursor" is also seen in Track View with or without MIDI track. In Track view, insert marker. Move the "now time" vertical bar so you can see the marker. Hover your mouse cursor to the marker and RIGHT click. Move the cursor up or down while still pressing the right click (it suposse to resize all tracks if there is any track in track view). There you go... The cursor is boxed.

    Delete markers ?

With Smart tools selected, move your cursor over the marker, stop on top of the marker's name when you see the pointer turns into small "M". Right click and press Delete.
  8. Man, I LOVE the new "Smart tools" !!!!! Thank you!!! BTW, if there is time to work on things, could you please take a look at this "bug"? I was hoping it is fixed in next release, but after trying the new 07.2019 EAP, the problem is still there. Thanks Noel!
  9. I hope @Noel Borthwick and team will fix this issue in next release...
  10. The problem is not exclusive to Tranzport... It also happens to my other control surfaces that able to "listen" to feedback. If CbB lost focus, the control surface stop "listening" to Cakewalk. I tried drawing simple volume envelope on track, and play. My Peavey SudioMix's motorized fader will respond to that volume change when CbB is in focus. Once CbB lost focus, the StudioMix motorized fader stop responding to CbB. CbB stil play normaly, but the volume envelope doesn't move the motorized fader. This is not the case with Splat, and I don't remember if the recent CbB update has caused this.
  11. On the technical side -if you have any chance- try experimenting with outboard preamps instead of the stock in your audio interface. It's amazing on how the sound change when you pair certain mic with different mic preamp. Take it for good and bad. In my case, I have many ordinary -under $500- mics (either condenser, dynamic or ribbon) that sound great when I pair them with different preamps. Usually, if I think I have the right mic on the right position and the room is ok, but I didn't quite satisfy with the result, the first thing I would do is to change the preamp and see if that helps.
  12. Confirmed.. When Cakewalk is out of focus, Tranzport's screen doesn't display what's going on Cakewalk. We still can control Cakewalk with Tranzport, but the Tranzport's screen freeze. It works normal in Splat. I'm on Win7 x64.
  13. Consider your vocal's characteristic, it's not bad for the raw take actually. It's fine. There's a way to make it better, but could you please tell us more about the preamp, soundacard, setting and the routing?
  14. I hope you're doing great Panup. Please take your time. We will patiently wait for that moment.. Have a good days! Cheers!
  15. I can. And so Superior Drummer 2. I can easily drag and drop clips to track without problem.
  16. If you use soft synth, you can select the MIDI clip and the soft synth's track where the MIDI track is routed, then select "Tracks --> Bounce to track(s)..." from the Track View menu, and select Create new track as destination. Make sure you add some empty space at the end of the clip so the decay / sustain (if any) wont be cut.
  17. Awesome trick bro, however having Volume and pan on track folder will be better since we have empty space in track folder interface. Just an idea to save few click of grouping.
  18. I don't have UAD, however you can try look at Preferences --> VST Settings , and uncheck "Hide Related VST2 Plugins", then re scan your VST folder. That may help in many case plugins don't show up.
  19. One of the thing I would love to see in near future development, is synth rack enhancement. 1. Ability to re-arrange the synths / drag up or down. 2. Ability to assign color to the synth (eg. to match tracks connected) like any other track. and if possible 3. Master Mute / Solo for the synth rack. That's all I can think right now. Hope it can make it to the upcoming release. Thanks and warm regards! James Argo
  20. Can we have volume and pan slider on Track folder that worked relative to the volume of each tracks within? I know we can send the tracks inside folder to specific bus, however if Mute, Solo and Arm can make it to the folder, why not volume and pan as well? It will be very convenience for our workflow without assigning new bus for the folder. Thanks & warm regards! James Argo
  21. How do you describe "not able" ? In my most case, I accidentally press "0 / ins" in numeric pad, it prevents hotkeys to edit the clips. Press it again to go back to normal mode.
  22. I have this edited status * everyday in almost every project I open. If you use control surfaces or any MIDI controller, some of them tend to send random signal to cakewalk. In my case, it's either Peavey Cakewalk StudioMix (well known for it's MIDI jitter bug), or AKAI LPD, or Keystation 88. Nothing appears in the undo list, but it triggers edit status as soon as I open or save the project.
  23. I still have the CD, (and I made the ISO backup), however I don't think it's legal to share it (even the backup installation). If I'm not mistaken, it was the first time Cakewalk support VST by native. The goodies in the bundle are awesome, I keep using some of them til these days. The Blue Jay Drums kit.. Aaah those days of soundfonts... 😀
  24. If the synth wasn't designed to understand CC91 and CC93, then it will ignore the data. It has no effect to the sound. If you want to make sure, then you can delete all those CC data in the MIDI track and re-save the MIDI file.
