Wow indeed! There's a patch in GR5 I use for BM tones when I need them but this is a whole other world 😲

Nice job with the demo too Peter.

Thanks!  I just mentioned Jamie Humphries who did the second longer video, he did such a great job with that video and all of the audio demos.

Peter, how can I buy only 55 creds (54 actually) so I can buy the whole bundle through the Custom Shop (I have 45 creds there)?

    The guitar is included!! WOW~~! : )

I'll be getting this. I ain't gonna wait on this one!!

Great!  It really is incredible.  I've been playing with it for a while, before the presets were available and it wasn't hard to recreate Brian's tone even without them - and you can get some non-Queen tones that are really great too.  We worked directly with Brian on this project, but also worth noting the hard work and attention of Jamie Humphries who did the audio demos and worked on the presets as well.  He has performed many a time with Brian as well as being the original main guitarist for the We Will Rock You musical.  He's obviously an expert on Queen tone as well as Brian's style of playing.

I bet a whole lot more would too!!

Of course, but alas we cannot give away brand new products for free :(

But Peter, really nothing to be shamed of... The show (I mean the original one not remake) gave to us great tunes performed by great artists in most of parts at intro or ending.

And even in many of them they were performing their songs as part of story :) Many really big names there... As Paula Cole, The Cranberries and many others.

That's true and you actually reminded me that the remake/reboot actually exists.  Most definitely meant the original :)

The music was used quite well as you point out.  Of course there was plenty of cheese in there too, I especially enjoyed Rainn Wilson's (Dwight from The Office US) brief appearance.  I took my daughter to a panel at a local con once with Hollie Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty.  Was fun.

Do not overlook the EQ 73, 81, PA, and PB. These EQ's give a nice smoothness to a distorted guitar in my opinion. Don't over do it, but a little really adds a nice touch. Turn the input up and adjust output accordingly.

And don't discount those Quad plugins. Overlooked workhorses IMHO.

I almost forgot to mention the 670 comp. I love that thing on a bass guitar. Just gives it an old school richness.

Last but not in the least, the one that got me going on old school EQ's, the EQP-1A Program EQ is perhaps my favorite sounding Pultec emulation I have. And I got quite a few.

To be honest, there is not a dud in the bunch of modules for T-Racks.

Great points all around.  I have to say AMEN to the Quad Series comment specifically.  And a deep and sincere thank you for that last comment.

    The Charmed ? :D

I really don't want to admit that I watched the show a bit more than I would have expected I would, but... Hey the theme was really good! :)

And I hope the hint using that video was as obvious as our teaser.

A huge part of his sound is in his guitar.  Are they planning on releasing a Red Special emulator?

    You'll see...

    I want a Boston one.

I've pushed for Rockman emulations at least, and for a while.  Let's see if I can't get some at least maybe into AT5

So how many other products will we have to own in order to use all the rigs in this pack? That seemed to be a common theme in some others I bought before. "Sorry, you can't load this patch because you don't own this, this and this product".

You won't for the Brian May presets included.  We've made sure additional gear is available in AmpliTube CS (free version) for those that buy only the collection to cover this.

    Yes!  Glad you noticed.

Should I be sad that I won’t particularly benefit from this additional tier of 7 free because I already own everything available?!  Somehow that line of my thinking is a bit whacked!!  Kind of like ‘I dont want to pay more taxes, so I better not earn more money!’

May everyone who gets another IKM software title because of the next added tier totally enjoy and prosper with the new addition to their collection!

Well, you have a right to be sad that there are no more choices - it is at least to some extent sad, of course.  It's not entirely "whacked" but I see your point.  It is great that all participants are helping each other whether they can use all upcoming (hopefully soon) seven free choices, which in turn helps others who join, who then help others, and so on and so forth.  Though I don't want to pay more taxes but do want to make more money :)

    Way to go, UIKG!

Thanks!  I did what I could, but I'm not solely responsible.  I'll pass along the kudos and also my suggestions as to what happens when we hit THIS tier.

    Ok thanks.

I just wish that IKM would offer a version of Axe I/O for those that already have Amplitube MAX (plus a few other Amplitube add-ons) at a reduced price.
Something like a crossgrade; even a 50 EUR reduction would tempt me.

At present with max Jampoints it would be 300 EUR for Axe I/O (around 274 GBP) inc VAT.  That much would buy quite a few really good audio interfaces such as the Audient id22 or Scarlett 18i8.

To be transparent, that price really  is for the hardware.  The software is added as a bonus, but does not truly factor into the price of the unit as it is an enticement/incentive but we really base the price of hardware on what it costs to make it plus a standard margin.   There may be retailers that have deals from time to time though.  If you hit me up directly, I can take a look at your specific situation though, I'm always willing to think creatively :)

For guitar use especially, AXE I/O would do a better job than the Hi-Z/Instrument inputs on other interfaces.  We have users telling us how retailers are recommending AXE I/O over others similar to (or mayyybe exactly) the ones you mention for that reason and that it hangs with them for non-guitar recording as well.

  9. Same here, I may jump in for SF Pro 12 and Acid but the rest isn't as enticing as the previous Magix music bundle was for me.  I actually could have used some of that 80s content from the one I bought into  for an upcoming game project but I'd have to shell out more than I paid in order to upgrade to the royalty free usage license for those.

I am most definitely awaiting the Vegas 16 dealio too, thanks for the reminder that should come soon Larry.

Edit - though I really want to get No Man's Sky at 50% off (I see it at 50% off on Humble and Steam) because that huge update just dropped and looks very cool.

Pete I don't know how you sorted that out.   I guess the proof is IK group buys never fails in its goal.  The same can be said about Orange Tree and HG Sounds.  It's nice they added some hardware to this buy.  My one regret is I don't have the means right now to get that Axe I/O.  I would make it mine.   I hope there is hardware again in future group buys.

Well, there were some factors that contributed to combining T-RackS and AmpliTube and then adding hardware.     I'm glad we can still do a group buy that resonates with people and that hits the goals.  Well, we haven't hit ALL of them yet but I have faith that all will go well there even with the risk that people would be like "ugh, why did they add hardware??" - you never know what people might suddenly think is stupid.  Though I thought it was brilliant and glad it happened.

    2 hours ago, Grem said:

That was really nice that hardware was thrown in there!! IK upping the game!

For sure, thanks for supporting this move.  I think we'll have to consider it again for future group buys.   I'll just say "all the Cakewalk forum folks hated it but we should do it anyway." ;)

I was actually shocked that they included that, as I had just bought it too...so kind of a bummer...
but NICE for people who didn't pony up the coin!

Yeah, when that was being bandied about the feeling was that it could be a chance for those that missed out on the preorder/intro deals.  Believe it or not, some people don't hear about these things - they don't know you, I guess, Larry :)

Yeah but you got the group buy going on and I am in on that right now!! Ya'll can't get all my money!!!   😁

Same thing happened when MODO Bass came out, there was something else going on that I was buying. So I missed the intro price and waited and waited and waited and..... I finally got it now!!

    I'll settle for most. :)

Edit - but only via the special PayPal link I'll PM ;)

The only developers I know who won't take you from behind (without consent) are:

    •  Melda Production
    • ValhallaDSP
    • Xfer Records

Either they don't run sales at all (Valhalla, Xfer) designed to deteriorate your judgement by abusing some evolution-programmed animal instinct hell-bent on reserving resources (real or imaginary), that in this absurd modern setting translates to toys for adults, that you can only not call toys because you're an adult and you can simply proclaim your toys as tools of production to elevate their symbolic status above what they actually are - or they do run a more predictable sale campaign by the schedule AND they reward you for all the money you spend on their stuff (Melda).

Want to not get F'ed in the A? Buy from these folks. They're also quite nice and competitive at what they do.

Know more? Feel free to give them some deserved rep and differentiate them from the cheapskates with their "sales", "offers" and "coupons". 👻

These are NOT great bargains and you're NOT winning - the whole system is purpose-built for milking you. Not only are YOU losing in the big picture because chasing these unnecessary "bargains" (whose whole motive and justification is that they expand the customer segment and sales beyond those who ACTUALLY NEED the crap 🐙) occupies a gigantic space in your mind in a world and era where every peaceful minute of your time that you could take to slow down and enjoy life is increasingly a rarity (and more precious than the fleeting euphoria from "grabbing a bargain"), but the small independent software developers are also being elbowed out of the industry by the determined devaluating of the fruits of their labor. You think the $29 is sweet? You'll get sweeter until your teeth rot!

Sorry to hear you feel that we have nefarious intentions of some sort.  Of course we're a business and will sell our products to stay in business, but we're not trying to do anybody dirty by any means.  As far as "not winning" I'll have to disagree - even before I was associated with IK Multimedia I knew that IK's plugins were quality and both AmpliTube and T-RackS have improved above and beyond that too.  Regardless of what you feel about how we have sales, these are top-shelf plugins.   Smaller companies are also making quality plugins but please don't use that as a way to try to distract from the fact that we're making some of the best-sounding plugins on the market.    And we're giving people an opportunity to get a ton of them for a great price.  Sounds like win/win to me, meaning that people who are getting the deal are the real winners here.

We also do not elbow anybody out of anything.  I think you'd be surprised by how friendly plugin companies of all sizes are with each other.  We like to hang when we can (usually around the trade shows, at least to physically hang) and communicate quite frequently among management, support staff, developers, basically at all levels of company and employee.

Plus, just a side note that I feel referring to our group buy and sales by other companies who are also creators of very useful and quality audio tools in such a vulgar fashion is a bit much.

If you ain't got the Fender 2 collection, I'd highly recommend it.

And the Fulltone is also a big favorite of mine. I am a suker for chorus, and that TERC is really the cream of the crop for me. You also get the OCD distortion pedal that I think is the best of the bunch in Amplitube.

As a side note, has anyone tried that Tube Comp that comes with Amplitube? I love that thing.

Good luck with that!! : )

Tube Comp is an unsung hero.  I'm totally on board with the Fulltone, it is a great part of AmpliTube, and the TERC tickles my 80s chorus nostalgia in a way that probably isn't suited for discussing openly in public :)

15 hours ago, Magic Russ said:

For chorus, I prefer the MXR Chorus from the Slash package and the Wampler Nirvana.

I'm totally with you on the OCD drive though.  That and the Pinnacle would be my favorite drives.

If they do an expanded Wampler collection, I'm in.

Good idea on the Wampler extended collection.  I'd be itno that too and also agree about the Pinnacle as being a great (but oft-overlooked) AmpliTube effect.

  13. The ability to relocate the samples to a custom directory was sent to the devs who should be adding this to a future release.  Note that you can choose a different drive during the installation process which will locate the samples there, and you can choose your existing locations for each plugin format also during the installation process to keep them where they should be.

The videos I posted from users are independent and have no connection to IK Multimedia.  These are users who are wowed with MODO DRUM and we found these videos just as anyone might through searching.  Just in case that wasn't clear.
