Or that top section should say even MAX doesn't include everything.  Most people understand the idea of tiers mentioned but the inherent implication that the highest tier should include what is pictured seems obvious.

That's what the top does say, I quoted where it says that is all gear available and each version has a different set of gear (this is right above the gear list/filters)

  2. Right, AmpliTube 5 MAX includes what was available when it was released.  The gear page is all gear available either in collections or a la carte.  The specific lists for gear in each version are available (as we see linked above) too.

On the "Gear" page linked above, you can see this there:

All available gear from the AmpliTube locker can be seen below.

Please note there are several versions of AmpliTube 5 with different gear included.

Use the comparison charts below to see which version is right for you.

Good product. Great price for it. I use it every day.

But I feel like I shot myself in the foot a time. I kept buying bits and parts of AT5 in group buys over the years. So now I have about 99% of AT5 but am missing a couple of items here and there so I have to be careful not to click the amps or mics I don't own. And I am not eligible for a upgrade pricing for anything. Oh well. Live and learn. But I have no regrets. I have 90% of SampleTank and all of TRacks which are both great tools for what I do.

What items from MAX don't you have (and in general)?  Trying to see what people tend to not have and how much of it etc.  If you'd indulge me, of course, if not I understand.

I got the Sunset Sound Collection, but not the Fame. Not sure if I just want to wait this one out.

It I get the Fame Reverb, would that give me it in T. Rack's?

It would be available as a single plugin and in the T-RackS suite, yes.

Edit - also just in case waiting it out is referring to Black Friday (not just you, anybody who might be wondering) this is the lowest these two plugins will go for the rest of this year including Black Friday deals.

As long as the invitefor those drinks  is still active I'll survive :)

Absolutely.  Might even share the good stuff with you (just picked up another Lagavulin variant recently - the charred oak barrel version, was supposed to be on pre-order until this month but my wife saw it out in October woo hoo).

IK's next promotional give away,  A Ninja Blender to help you lose the weight 😆

I just bought a Ninja ice cream maker, it doesn't seem to be helping me lose weight for whatever reason...

For we all know they won't give away that keyboard :D:D:D   🤣

    Not to you. :P

  7. Fair point.  I should look at the ratio of Warhammer games I have vs those I've played (and for how long).  I'm much more interested in the one you posted as well.  Seems like they do two when the main one is 18+ I think?  I might be wrong on that though.  Warhammer doesn't really seem like a "family" choice :)

  8. Looks like only a couple more days on this one and I didn't find a post or mention that Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus - Standard Edition is also free.  Apologies if you posted that and I missed it.  These make me even happier now that I am able to run Epic Games library games on my Steam Deck wooo hooo

  9. And it unfortunately seems to need to be made more clear: since I definitely needed to review that mod post linked above to learn, you might want to re-read and note that affiliate links are not allowed at all - it isn't about disclosing when you use them, it is about not using them at all with regard to affiliate links.

I'll ignore the other stuff, when I was posting any deals (rarely since Lars always has the scoop, even on me the guy who works for IK LOL) I didn't use affiliate links but I'm also not allowed to sell in general per that post and I'm fine with that.  I would kindly suggest to re-read that moderator post linked above and play by the rules of the forum which graciously accepts us.

More unsolicited advice:  This is a cool place for anybody interested in music (and games, and other topics, which makes it even cooler) so why not participate about something I assume you love?  I have had some of the best times here when the discussion had nothing to do with IK, our products, or anything I'm paid to do (oops my superiors might not want to see that ;) ).  I've made friends, had great fun, learned a lot and hopefully shared some of my knowledge too along the way.

I've also made mistakes, been emotional or whatever, furrowed my brow, but then got over myself and whatever bothered me or whatever I was embarrassed of what I did and always felt welcomed overall by the fine folks here.

Hey Peter, you can still post your ikmultimedia.com link in your signature!

That way one click will reveal any current promotions featured on your main page!

Done.  I was only on for a quick bit before so I changed it enough to make sure it complied but have now put a simple link like you mention.  Thanks!

  11. Agreed, I don't think general announcements about policies are a bad idea, they should help avoid posts that do not fit the current rules.  Why would you want to create more work and make moderation of the forum you enjoy far less efficient?

I say this as someone affected (you obviously won't see direct deal postings from me now that I see that post, no biggie I understand) and as someone who agrees with the no affiliate links rule too.  Especially with the precedent set by the most prolific deal poster here who never posted affiliate links even though he could have if he wanted to make a "cut" from the work done to post all of these deals.

I just hope to see others follow the rules if they are devs/companies and hope there aren't others who don't wear an affiliation to a company on their sleeve which is something I'm proud to have made a condition of my employment at IK from the start (about 13 years ago) and something which I feel strongly about in general.  Now you won't see direct deals posted by me (unless I have a brain fart which can happen time to time and I expect to get admonished accordingly if that happens) but anything I post will clearly be from IK officially and I think that's even more powerful when the ability to post deals "for profit" or have products in dev/company signatures. So in short, even those affected seem to think it is  a good thing.

Basically TL;DR I respectfully disagree with OP even though I'm affected directly.

Looks like that will definitely be the case even more so going forward based on that new sticky post.

I've definitely been impressed with the volume knob dynamics on a lot of these.

Thank you.  I hope nobody considers thanking a user for kind words as "free advertising" lol

@Peter - IK Multimedia   I could open a support ticket on this but it seems that any profile one creates and also downloads from the "user" tone models do not sync to other machines that are also tied to my account.

This seems problematic to keep things similar across machines as it would be quite labor intensive to manually match across multiple machines.

Also is there a way to transfer these things manually?  If I create a profile (and also have presets downloaded) from one machine and put them on another?  That could at least serve as a work around until product updates are made.

Sorry I missed this.  They don't sync across machines currently but you should be able to export from TONEX.  If that isn't helpful I'd reach out to support with more details and they may have a better solution/recommendation.

  14. CS users can only download 20 user Tone Models.  You can't download from the Premium Tone Models (from SE/standard/MAX) so no, a free CS user is not going to be able to grab a bunch of Dumble and Klon models for their 20 free choices.

We are not selling these a la carte, so if a Premium Tone Model is in one of the versions (SE/standard/MAX) you'd need to purchase that version in order to get those Tone Models.  There's a full list of gear which includes information about in which version they are included on the site.

Still can't get this quite! Are the presets the 20 free amp models? Do I click on Buy to add the models from Tonex on Tonenet? Very seldom does software bug me out but this is ridiculous!

You get 20 models included in TONEX CS.  These are free Tone Models of various types.  You can see which ones are in which version on the posted list on the TONEX web pages.  That should help.  They should be readily available in the list of Tone Models at the bottom of the TONEX software interface.
