I just heard back from Ralph—just as helpful as ever, manning every desk in the shop. I did ask if anything was on the horizon but haven’t heard back. It was only an hour ago.
I find it hard to get my head around it at times but that’s me bichin’ about the interface more than anything. The guy that did a multi-part in-depth YouTube series on Jamstix 4 was WAY too deep, and there’s not much else in terms of tutorials.
This is great news. It's good to know he's ok. Hopefully, he'll respond.

This thread was tremendously helpful. It appears as though Ralph is still with us, but he doesn't seem to be actively involved in JS.

Hey Folks:
I was working with jamstix today and realized it hasn't been updated in years. Has Ray given up on it? Are there plans for any new developments? I always thought it was a powerful piece of software and hate to see it simply fade away if that is what's happening.

I just checked and it's only €19 or $20.71. And yesterday I said to myself, "No more plugins". But it's "only" $20.71. I've GOT to stop visiting this page.

I bought the limiter a few weeks ago and I think I paid $49, so this is a great price indeed.

"Yum," "crispy," "sizzling," "creamy soft and crunchy," "yummy" and "cook up your sounds."
I've never seen any plugin developer with that many food metaphors in their copy. I'm thinking he should just eat something before he starts writing copy. Because he writes like he's super hungry.
Edit: I clicked on the link to find their whole site is based on food metaphors. Weird. But are their plugins good?
Maybe the question we should is asking is are they edible?

Sometime back I got Royal Compressor as a freebie. I also have Cream2 by Acustica. Both of these are emulations of the Altec RS124 tube compressor used at Abbey Road. To my ears the Acustica unit sounds better, but the Royal compressor isn't bad. If you're looking a for an affordable Altec copy it's well worth a demo.

$29.99 for Microsoft Office?! No thanks.
I think I'll pass on the "Rolex" too.
But it's authentic, I promise!

FWIW the magazine is 6.99 Euros which is about $7.73 USD. The NoiseAsh NEED 73 Console EQ is $49 US, which makes this a darn good deal.

does Waves know NAM exists? $29 is significantly more pricey than compared with completely free.
That's a great line and made me laugh out loud. I'm deeply tempted to forward it on to Waves.
Also, if you like NAM give guitarML a look. It's free and uses the same technology. https://guitarml.com/
