There will never be a "last purchase" of any type of thing while I frequent this horrible place, will there? I need to get the Pathfinder libraries at least now. 😭

Coming here is sort of like saying, "I'm going to keep digging this hole until I get to the bottom of it."

I just heard back from Ralph—just as helpful as ever, manning every desk in the shop.  I did ask if anything was on the horizon but haven’t heard back.  It was only an hour ago.

I find it hard to get my head around it at times but that’s me bichin’ about the interface more than anything.  The guy that did a multi-part in-depth YouTube series on Jamstix 4 was WAY too deep, and there’s not much else in terms of tutorials.

This is great news.  It's good to know he's ok.  Hopefully, he'll respond.

  3. Hey Folks:

I was working with jamstix today and realized it hasn't been updated in years.  Has Ray given up on it?  Are there plans for any new developments?   I always thought it was a powerful piece of software and hate to see it simply fade away if that is what's happening.

"Yum," "crispy," "sizzling," "creamy soft and crunchy," "yummy" and "cook up your sounds."

I've never seen any plugin developer with that  many food metaphors in their copy. I'm thinking he should just eat something before he starts writing copy. Because he writes like he's super hungry.

Edit: I clicked on the link to find their whole site is based on food metaphors. Weird. But are their plugins good?

Maybe the question we should is asking is are they edible?

  6. Add texture and warmth with real acoustic sounds

Reeds, tines, strings and all kinds of percussive stuff!

There's something about real acoustic sounds which just brings tracks to life – adding human feel, warmth and imprecision to electronic grooves, or anchoring rock and pop tracks with a bit of earthy grit. This weekend's FLASH SALE lops a third off some of our tastiest acoustic instruments:

does Waves know NAM exists? $29 is significantly more pricey than compared with completely free.

That's a great line and made me laugh out loud.  I'm deeply tempted to forward it on to Waves.

Also, if you like NAM give guitarML a look.  It's free and uses the same technology.  https://guitarml.com/
