Just had a look - didn't realise it requires a dongle
From version 16 it doesn't require a dongle anymore. I'm using an activation card which is really just a serial number you get sent in the mail. Also can be used for 2 PCs.

Is it more stable, than Magix video software? I couldn't make a single in Davinci Resolve due to constant crashes.
It has been very stable for me, version 16. Version 17 is in beta right now so I'm expecting that it wont be as stable. I'll just wait for the official release which will be stable.

That's why I bought Davinci Resolve instead. Pay a one time fee for the studio version of the product and get lifetime updates and upgrades for free! I bought it when it was version 16 and been getting free updates. Now with their HUGE version 17 upgrade, I'm getting that for FREE!!! 😎

I got it just in time before it's gone! That's a first! 😛

Does this goodie bag work in the Reason Lite freebie that seems to rather ubiquitous these days?
Maybe a few. Depends if you have the rack extension. To get the most out of this you would need at least the Intro version.

After purchase, how do you access the In The Mix Vital Sounds Preset Pack?
Run the installer. Then run the VST and login then it will download the presets and then click install.

2.99 has only just recently gone to beta, and that comes out first. So it will be a long while before 3.0. If we are lucky, probably next year. 🤪

Thanks for posting this. Loved the video and for $20 it was worth supporting a new developer.
Although if I reallly like it I’m sure I’ll want to go Pro. I hope there is an upgrade path eventually.
From website:
Basic - Free
Plus - $25
Pro - $80
Subscription - $5 / monthyes, there is an upgrade path. You pay the difference after release date. So this way, you can buy this now then upgrade to pro after release and you would have saved $5 and got an extra preset pack.

For $20 you get the Plus version + an extra pack of presets!
This deal is only available for 7 days! Link in video description.

Checking for updated in Melodyne is currently returning an error (no Internet), which I of course have, since I'm posting this message.
I had that error like a day ago. But today it works fine for me without me changing anything.

Got this when it was on sale before. Great synth! If you are familiar with BYOME or TRIAD from Unfiltered Audio, then you will enjoy this even more!

I just noticed it changed your name again to Larry Shelby. The forum A.I. doesn't like you 😆

I'll investigate thanks.
Thank you for looking into it.
And if it isn't much trouble since I talked about the Reason Rack plugin. There is a small bug in Cakewalk that makes me unable to type anything in the plugin. I can work around it by copy/paste what I want to type in Notepad then copy/paste in the plugin, but I would rather not have to do that. Even if I select "give all keystrokes to the plugin" from the Cakewalk vst plugin window, nothing changes. All that happens is me activating the Cakewalk shortcuts. This function works in other DAW's however.

MIDI CC sent out from the Reason Rack plugin doesn't seem to work in Cakewalk. For example using the Pulsar Dual LFO with the MIDI Out device and connecting the CV from Pulsar to the CV to MIDI connection in MIDI Out. Cakewalk registers that there is MIDI getting sent out because I see the meter in the MIDI track and I see the MIDI light signal in DS Thorn synth flashing at the rate of the LFO from Pulsar, but when I click MIDI Learn on anything, it doesn't learn the MIDI, it just keeps waiting.
This works in Ableton Live 10. This also works if I use a VST Wrapper in Cakewalk that is VST2 and load Reason Rack within it, then the MIDI Learn works. It would seem that the VST3 implementation in Cakewalk doesn't support it yet. Searching online this issue it seems that this is a recent new function to the VST3 standard that was brought over from VST2 and some DAW's updated their VST3 implementation that includes this. Ableton and Reaper didn't have this function before but with their new updates they do now.
Can you please update the VST3 implementation in Cakewalk so it has the latest VST3 function to accept sending MIDI CC through plugins. I tested this with the new 2020.10 Early Access build and it doesn't work and doesn't work in the released 2020.09 version either.

I run the installer but it doesn't update to 1.8.9. It says 1.8.6 installed and that's it. It even checked for updates when I ran it. I even installed the installer from the website again. According to the installer 1.8.6 is the latest. I don't have any paid plugins. All the ones I have are free or free from CM magazine. Not sure if that makes a difference.
