Just tried it. Worked. Cool. One more Amp Sim to try.

$146.58 with discount. Now if I was a big reverb user, this is one I would get. I think they are best in business.

I listened and think will pass. It sounds great but I have a lot of sampled Jupiters.

sad to hear of this. hopefully is just an expired domain name and they forgot to renew. that was a real good site.

I am a guitar player. This looks cool. But man, I have a lot of amp sims. Anyone tried this for clean R&B, funk, country and rock tones? How does it compare others?

<sigh> I really want this... but not at this price.
ÂAgreed. I really like their products and collect them, but they are steep. Usually the collection upgrades are best bang for buck.

i got it and tried it out. its pretty good for free.

BTW, that's 83 plugins for around $2 each
Here is a comparison of Horizon and the Platinum upgrade they had not long ago:
https://www.waves.com/compare-bundles?ids=52-69btw.. from this list i use these the most
H-Comp Hybrid Compressor
H-Delay Hybrid Delay
IR-L Convolution Reverb
all the OneKnob stuff. i got most for free.
PuigTec EQs
Renaissance stuff
VU Meter --- i dont know why i use this. it shows the same levels as what Cubase shows in the meter. So i dont know if i am just stupid.Â

It doesn't matter how many plugins you get for the money but how many of those plugins you actually want.
yup. it comes down to that. For the record, I have never paid for WUP. They all work fine. I upgrade when Waves offer freebie. So far there are a handful (about 5 or 6) that I use in a lot of projects. Light on CPU and provide good results.

As someone who really hasn't taken advantage of Mixbox SE since... whenever it was that we all got that, I'm convincing myself this is a "gonna be this low again" sale and slowly venting my GAS.
Also, it feels a bit wrong to pick up a new FX suite when I've barely started exploring the new Guitar Rig that came with the recent MPS update (and also trying to sell NI/bx suites from the same, along with 831 other people, apparently).
my guess is GR7 should have newer and fancier effects. It's always been a great effects tool.
As someone who uses Mixbox a lot, I would say, it makes sense to get it if you are a user of TRacks. It's very handy to have access to those modules all in one slot. In my case, I am a big user I got pretty geeky with it. I would read the IKM manual and then I dig up other articles on the units it emulates and go in there and tinker to see what it all can do. . So I am familiar with the stuff I like to use. I have other stuff in my collection, but defer to Mixbox as its much lighter on CPU compared to some other stuff i have. YMMV.

I have to admit, I have been using more Waves plugins lately. as they are light on CPU compared to others i have. But I think i'll pass. Wait for more freebies from Waves.

Drum addict here also , my conclusion is : putting money aside for an elektron or Roland /korg drum machine ....Â
As for uvi , i use it in Maschine , it's exellent and created mcros to be able to control crucial stuff like pitch and sends ////
better than battery or maschine expansions?
I never tried using ST and Beat Machines in Maschine.. I should try it.

I am an drum addict. listening to the sounds. My only thing stopping me is, I got IKM Sampletank Beat Machines a while back and actually use it a lot. I keep feeling I have these sounds already.

Thanks. So if I am understanding this correctly. It's either this for $59 or if VV gets released and it does go on sale, it might be $299 for the full VV. Right?

$150Â for a limiter...
