Guessing this is an export to wav. Other formats could be the issue. It could be plug-in related. Modifying BounceBufSizeMsec in preferences might make a difference. While there make sure AllowOfflineRenderMixThreads is enabled and ThreadSchedulingModel is set to 2. These settings are documented here. There there is the song length. Export time is a function of a lot of variables, track count and song length have a big impact. Given the numbers cited by Chuck, your export times may be about right. I have never had such a long piece to export. Freezing tracks may help considerably with repeated exports.

I believe BA is reading HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk\Installers\DC294903-7970-42DB-B049-04FA5E7C6332 from the registry to determine the status of CbB. Once this is removed the CbB button in BA should no longer read Open. May want to verify this is the correct key by reviewing the data in the record. This part of the registry is removed as part of the CbB clean re-install process which is documented here

The only uninstall I suggested was in this post Certainly did not recommend running multiple uninstalls and CC Cleaner. Uninstalling CbB may affect SHS because all Cakewalk DAWs use the same shared folders. If BandLab Assistant no longer works, the first thing to do is get it installed again. If after re-installing BA, it still thinks Cakewalk is installed run the CbB uninstall option from with BA. I posted an image in the link to this option. If BA does not think Cakewalk is installed, re-install Cakewalk. You may want to temporarily disable your virus scanner when installing BA and CbB.

Tungsten is not a user theme. It is the only manufacturer supplied theme file and it is installed in the program folder. It is possible to create a user theme out of Tungsten by either opening it in the theme editor and saving it as a user theme or copying it from the program folder into "Cakewalk Content\Cakewalk Themes" and changing its extension to .sth, Mercury is not a user theme or a factory theme. It is the name given to the basic UI created by the program when it reads its resource files. BTW, this is a public forum consider removing the email address in your posts.

The plug-in scanner does not create a file, it writes to the registry. There is a way to generate a scan log on demand in preferences. I wrote a tool to list the registry VST inventory created by the scanner. It is on my google page.

BandLab recommends leaving Platinum installed. Some of the plug-ins bundled with Platinum will not install without the DAW being installed such as the LPhase series. The DAW does not take up much space especially if you skip installing the SONAR tutorials.

By default the Tungsten theme is installed in "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core" The file name is TungstenTheme.fth If it is missing, I could not trust the installation and would uninstall CbB and reinstall it. the uninstall option in on the menu to the right of the Open button

Try installing with the Cakewalk Command Center.

X1 was the only version with a Producer Expanded release. Third party Plug-ins bundled with Producer often do not run in lesser versions even if the lesser version is a newer release. This is due to the license agreement between Cakewalk and the plug-in manufacturer. CbB should load anything that was installed with 64bit version of SONAR because it appears to plug-ins as current top-of-the line version of SONAR. That said, discontinued plug-ins were often dropped because they were not maintained and were a support problem. The plug-ins bundled with SONAR received periodic updates. Older versions of a plug-ins may experience problems that newer versions of the same plug-ins do not have.

That is good news. I would never be able to repro. Even though I have two monitors connected, I rarely use both for CbB.

I regularly pick up hints on how to do things from forum users. MIDI routing is pretty basic though. There have been requests for more routing options. Maybe someday it will be possible to make multiple selections from the output drop down.

Already covered that ground earlier Multiple targets, in this case FX plug-ins, mean multiple MIDI tracks, one for each instance the plug-in. The for these tracks may be linked clips or a "master track" connected via a virtual MIDI cable.

Should be able to save the page locally from the browser. It saves as an html document.

Clips do not have any control over where their data goes, the MIDI track output setting controls where the clip data is sent.

It is kind of a fallback position for support everywhere and it might work. Just seems odd, I thought Overloud used silence instead of beeps in certain demo modes.

Bounce to clips will not merge clips on different tracks. Bouncing clips on multiple tracks renders the clips but leaves them where they are. So, in the case of MIDI clips, it may appear like nothing happened. To have multiple instances of the same clip act like ONE clip (whether on the same or different tracks) use Paste Special with "Link to Original Clip(s)" enabled when copying the clip.

A clean re-install of either or both CbB and Platinum does not touch VSTs. It will affect the shared folders for all installed Cakewalk DAWs but the uninstall process does not affect files that have been altered or added after install. Hard to imagine re-installing either DAW will make a difference. but I were contemplating clean re-installs, I would start with first with CbB only, then maybe CbB and Platinum. Always install CbB last. The CbB instructions are here. The Platinum instructions are here. I really don't think this is necessary. Anything common between the two would be handed by the CbB re-install. Are Windows sound enabled in OS? If so, disable them.

Guess it's up to the staff. I cannot reproduce or think of anything else to check (except maybe running on one monitor).
