not for sonar/cbb/whateveritscalledthisweek, only for bandlab,  sonar/cbb/whateveritscalledthisweek is just a component so doesn't get its own push

Sonar is not CbB. Why are you conflating the 2?

Saying "whateveritscalledthisweek" is also a bit weird. The names have never changed since being announced.

That’s a good thing! In my case I have to bring my studio rig in the house and get it on the internet. That was the biggest reason for me to go with the subscription.

I think you can Save-As the project to a new folder and only necessary files will transfer over.  They should all be date stamped by right click > Properties, tho modern Windows Explorers can goof these up at times.

"Save audio with project" should be checked in order for the audio to be copied during Save As.

I'm afraid Session drummer is not free. It's included with Membership Sonar.

Sorry I can't think of free multi sample players off hand but hopefully someone else has a recommendation.

John, I've got Session Drummer 3 available in my CbB install.

The old Cyclone that came with SONAR would also work (I forget which version).  Pretty simple 16 pad sampler - no frills but it works.

Cyclone shipped with every version from Sonar 6 up to & including Platinum

You can only install one copy of Sonar. Whether it is the "Free Tier" or the "Full subscription version" depends on how you are logged in to BandLab.

CbB has always been able to be side-by-side installed with Sonar.

So you can have CbB + Free Tier Sonar, or CbB + Full Version Sonar, but not all three.

That said, the essence of the answer is, yes, you can have all three versions available to you, but only one tier of Sonar at a time.

    Is that actually documented anywhere?

Correct. They're is no such thing as input dithering. Dither is applied on playback at the final stages when  the float mixed data is down converted to 16 or 24 bit audio.  ////this also happens on export.

During recording we write the raw audio data that comes from the audio interface.

    Thanks for confirming Noel.

I thought I was correct but the usual suspect continued to argue the point.

What is wrong with the engineers and software developer at Band Lab. You should be washing pots in a taco truck instead of creating software.  How could you take one of the most stable DAWS on Disk format and turn it into an absolute buggy piece of crap with a subscription service. Your software crashes every single day. Every new update is worse than the last. Every time I click the mouse something unexpected happens. It adds a lane, a single track expands to the whole screen or clip properties opens up when selecting multiple clips. When you click the help button it takes me to your update page that tells me how much you suck by listing all the bugs you fixed instead of a help reference page. Its an all day pull my hair out **** show dealing with your software. It sucks!!! This is what happens when you rely on AI to write your code you lazy incompetent smucks. Learn how to code!!!

Nice rant. And due to the vast amount of relevant information you've provided about your pc, your system in general and what you've tried to so far to fix the problem, I'm sure people are queueing up to provide you with the unique solution to your problem.

I think you did not read well my post.

Supposing that In a track pane I inserted a plug-in.

During teaking the project  sometime I delete one or more bars.

Sometime it happens that I have the bar/bars s deleted and the plug-in in the track pane deleted too.

Saying "the plugin in the track pane" is slightly ambiguous.

Do you mean a plugin in the Track Fx Bin (which is in the track header, not the track pane)

Or do you mean in the clip Fx Rack (attached to a clip, in which case Wookiee's explanation above provides a possible answer
