I too am having a similar issue with pops and starting and stopping play. That as well the occasional pop through out the recording. I have done every thing I can think of to fix this as far as the optimizing my computer for audio recording. I have adjusted the latency as well as aud. ini. several ways to see if that was the issue. But still get the odd pop here and there on play back. The pops are not in the recorded file but just happen randomly thru out play back. Drivers are all up to date all unnecessary services are disabled. I have an i9 on an asus prime z590-A. I'm using a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd generation interface. USB connected. I am wondering if it might be the usb cable itself? Thanks in advance for any thoughts regarding this issue. Hope for a solution for Dmace and myself.
