Thanks. I've already spent a lot during this and the last month (got some good deals on used guitar pedals) so was hoping that the 32C's $29 price might come again later.

Talking of PA, I did buy the Focusrite SC for $29.99 during the Halloween Sale. Could have got it for lesser since it came back at $39.99 later (adding $25 voucher would bring it down to $14.99). Haven't got time to use the plugin though.

I recently tried running Scandisk on my external HDD (Windows 10) to scan for errors because windows gave me a prompt that it needed fixing.

However, post running Scandisk while the HDD is still being recognized by my laptop I am unable to read/write anything from it.
Also, plugging it into the USB port now causes Windows to hang.

Has someone here dealt with something like this?

Is there a HDD Recovery Software (paid/free) that I can try and use to recover my data from the HDD?

You got me wondering, so I started up Cakewalk and am playing my guitar through GTR. And I had forgot how good the clean sound is. The pedal fx's are top notch. Two amps hooked up by default. And you can see the routing and choose how you want it routed. Both amps has it's own cab controls, you can link the two amps,  and in the upper right corner there is a HD mode. And the GUI is resizeable (for me anyway).

Forgot about the tuner, it's a really good one. Easy to see, to use. No frills, no fuss.

@Grem is right. The GTR Bundle that comes with Gold is the complete one.

I use it quite frequently especially as the interface is really easy to use.  As a bonus try browsing through the many presets. They have some really good ones.

If I remember correctly I installed Pianissimo as an individual product but the VST was 32 bit. It works as stand alone and inside Mixcraft but it won't show up in other DAWs that only support 64 Bit.

You can request Acoustica for a  64 bit version separately (which by itself is standard with Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio and higher) and use it to overwrite the 32 bit VST. But then the 64 Bit does not work as standalone, if I recall correctly.  Maybe someone can confirm this.

I tried that several times but the code that comes in the subsequent email gives you a final price of $49 for the upgrade, not $25.
