Did you get it sorted out? Maybe they think your purchase was part of the previous promo (one freebie after spending $50). 

This campaign is a mess. I was supposed to have received my 2 'freebies', but they changed the terms after I made a purchase, so now the end of the promo is undefined. Peachy! That's a pretty blatant breach of contract. Even the details are a mess; they state that purchases need to be made together, not separately, to qualify for the promo, but registering plugins is done individually, so if you buy from resellers, it's not even clear if they can verify that.  Before wup-ing us with their stupid wup, they should wup themselves into some semblance of professionalism. 

Well, it turns out that the sale goes on, past 'today only'. And since buyers that used verified dealers (I looked it up, that's a fancy term for everyplugin) get their free plugins only after the promotion is over, we're stuck waiting. 

Imagine that Waves decided to change their mash, smash, divide, it's still 29.99 model to 2 plus 2 is always 4 you, and that's that. We might never get those damn plugins. They'll be a reference in a backlog on a quantum computer, long after we're gone, never to be redeemed again. 

Especially during sales, you're unlikely to do significantly better from either standard or advanced than upgrading straight from 'any paid Izotope/EA' (when you factor in the cost of getting standard or advanced), so that seems to be the best bet. With the exception of lucking out on a cheap standard or advanced license on kvr, and upgrading from there. 

Seems like an easy choice for the MTurboCompLE, although I'm not familiar with the other ones. Just how royal is that Royal Compressor? 😏

Did anyone hear back from Ample Sound? Is this 'group buy' thing doable? If so, post the license/discount math, so we can start counting. 

In isolation, as a matter of principle, PavlovsCat is obviously correct, it is opportunist behavior. Does it matter? We are all at least somewhat opportunistic, for simply using this forum. It's not like we're doing sophisticated due diligence before a purchase, to make sure, for example, that there's no dumping involved that harms the industry as a whole.

In practice, there are levels to everything, and we live in a sea of grey. In this particular case, for all the reasons already pointed out, I'd say it's a pretty light shade of grey. Made even lighter by the fact that it's Larry who caught a lucky break 😄

I bit. Scheps Omni, Kaleidoscopes, Nx, Abbey Road Chambers for about $15 each. Wish I could've thrown ABS 3 in there, but still... say what you want about Waves, as long as you survive their 29.99 assault, they deliver in the end. 

I'd be in for the upright bass, at least.

Damage: around $150. Not proud of myself, but I'm happy with the selection. Ok, I definitely didn't need another reverb, but Seventh Heaven is just so damn nice and easy to work with 🤕

I'm very tempted by Reference 4 Headphone, as I find I'm forced to use headphones more often than not (and that's not even mentioning the problem of using my monitors in an untreated room). I'm also tempted by Waves Abbey Road Studio 3 though, as it adds studio acoustic imaging, and it does come with headphone correction for my headphones (M50x). Anyone have experience with both? Is there a significant difference in EQ correction between the two? I imagine their respective headphone profiles would be fairly similar.

Yeah, I bought it for $20, it's the lowest I've seen it go for. But PSP seem to have increasingly good sales, so unless it's very urgent, chances are you can catch a bargain for it.

Agreed. I find I use Repeater quite often, despite having a bunch of other ones (and not taking anything away from Echoboy, which is awesome). 

For more creative delay, stuff that's hard to do with other plugins, I like to fiddle with the PSP 608 MD; UA's Sandman Pro can also get crazy, fast.

I wouldn't be using them WITH EzDrummer though, but on the bounced/rendered tracks, maybe I should have been clearer about that. EzDrummer is not that important, I mentioned it because I'm trying to estimate the added value in sounds/tones compared to the Toontrack stuff I already have. 

I think someone mentioned MDrumReplacer as being able to use the Melda samples, although if MDrumEnhancer can't, that's not a great sign.

I'll probably just upgrade the free bundle, which I use on occasion. 

I'm not into elaborate sound design, and I'm covered well enough for essentials so that nothing Melda screams YOU NEED ME right now. But I'm intrigued by the available drum samples. So here's a thought: coming from EzDrummer (and a lot of ezx's), I'm thinking of augmenting the sound packs I already have with Melda's. The cheapest/easiest option seems to be getting MDrumReplacer (in a beta/discounted state), splitting EzDrummer channels on individual tracks as usual, then replacing or mixing in Melda's samples to taste. Melda experts, any thoughts?

Where do you see that? I only see the eternal madness discount, and a few other plugins at 50%. 

I was fiddling with A360 when it came out. And I really like Vermillion. And Cerberus is a very decent bass amp sim. I might finally get them with this sale.

For guitarists, if it's decent, we're interested. And while these are cracking value for someone buying their first plugins, the rest of us would probably rarely choose Kuassa in a blind test over other options we already have. S-Gear, Neural, STL, Amplitube's Fender collections, not even to mention the FX (cough, Soundtoys) ... so do I need this? Of course I do, because I'm a hoarder.

If you demo-ed it before, you had an Ilok trial license. Check the tab that shows all your licenses on ilok (including inactive ones), Nolly should be there 'refreshed'. Right click, get it to 'show', so it's in your list of active plugins, then in the tab containing your current/active licenses, right click again and 'activate' it. 

I'm holding out for the update that will make it easier to sell.

If you've only tested it once, they 'refreshed' your Ilok trial serial - just need to find it, get it to 'show', then activate it again.

I've been trying out Cali. It's all relative but I don't think you'll miss the cleans in either Nolly or Cali if you have Plini. Between the first two, Nolly is definitely the more versatile (both in terms of amps and FX, although the overdrive pedal in Cali is really nice). Both have decent cleans, so those who are mainly interested in high-gain tones might be covered with a single Neural DSP purchase. I would have been very happy to use Nolly for everything, had I not demo-ed Plini. 

Again, very generous trial policy, and with the site-wide sale, it's easy to isolate exactly what you like/need. I might get Nolly if I figure out a way to feed myself the following few days 🤕 Can't fault them though; they're not cheap, but they're still awesome value.

It's great that they're so generous with their demo policy (including the recently reactivated 14 day trial).

I sure love my Plini. Still, Nolly is very tempting for the high-gain tones.
