    From their Website

    iLok Requirements

The All Access Pass can be used with iLok Cloud and does not require an iLok USB dongle. You will just need an active internet connection to use iLok Cloud.

Perpetual "Buy Now" individual plugin licenses require an iLok 2 or iLok 3 USB dongle.

So, yes, you are correct...the perpetual licenses DO require an iLok Dongle

I thought this thread was about Steven Slate Drums. From https://stevenslatedrums.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033680113-SSD5-5-Frequently-Asked-Questions

    Q: Does SSD5.5 use iLok?
A: A physical iLok USB dongle is not required to use the plugin. An iLok ID is required. If you do not have an iLok ID, please make one here: https://www.ilok.com/#!registration

SSD5.5 can be activated to an iLok 2 or 3 dongle or Machine (computer) within the iLok License Manager app.

UPDATE # 2: @Doug RintoulIt looks like I purchased MixBox on or around May 15th, authorized it on one computer on August 11th, and another computer on October 10th.  Not sure that the dates would make a different; just giving you the dates since you asked. It was not purchased as part of a bundle.

So does that mean I can offer it for sale to someone and if I find a purchaser, I can transfer it and then I will be able to select it as a promotional "freebie" before the end of October and use the money from the sale for a Black Friday special somewhere?

Since you purchased it before the GB (does not matter when you authorized it), I would not expect it to be selectable until you transferred it out of your account. So the answer to your question is yes.

Interesting.  I don't trust IK not to change that based on what they already changed during the promotion.

Example 1: I paid for MixBox and previously I had that as a selectable promotional option. Now it is skipped so I cannot get a second license.

Example 2: I have one Syntronik that I previously paid for and one that came with TS2MAX.  I then paid for the Syntronik Deluxe Upgrade.  I can no longer select the Deluxe Upgrade as a promotional item.

Not saying that I would have done the get-a-freebie-and-transfer-the-paid-version thing, but it seems to me that in plugging up that loophole, IK took away from me the option to get second licenses.  They reserved the right to change the rules at any time and after reading this thread they might decide to plug up that loophole too.

Pretty sure this was the way it has been from the beginning of the group buy. You could not select something you had previously purchased. There were exceptions, for example, you could select an item you already owned if the item was obtained as part of a bundle. So no rules were changed or holes plugged as far as I am aware. When did you buy MixBox?

Among recording artists, it's called the "hit recording capital of the world." For over 60 years, FAME Recording Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, has produced an endless stream of iconic hits powered by a sound that simply can't be found anywhere else in the world, until now.

So if I use this, will my song be instantly turned into an iconic hit?

Warning Will Robinson........... an iLok dongle is required for Slate perpetual licenses. The wife may get pithed off when she finds out!

Actually, an iLok dongle is not required. Steven Slate products do use iLok, but they can use a dongle or a machine id.

I am from the old school of 120mhz cpu and 16mb of ram!!

Luxury! My first computer was an Atari 400 with a clock speed of 1.79 MHz and 8K of RAM. And a membrane keyboard!

I actually worked on computers where the user interface was toggle switches and LEDs used to enter and display binary code.  This was the beast.

And people complain about the SampleTank UI.

I decided to buy the Behringer MEMS mike, which has a $100 MSRP, but Sweetwater offering on a special sale for $29 and free shipping plus their 2-yr warranty. It was out-of-stock and backordered when I purchased it earlier this week, but got an email that it's shipped and will arrive at my door on Monday.

I have the Behringer EMC 8000 and have used it for years with great results. But I didn’t get that kind of price! That is a killer deal

I looked at this mic but it does not seem to come a calibration file. How would you use it with ARC?
