As Fleer is implying, this is old news. And as Mibby has stated, the upgrade is now $69, not $39. Here is a link to the original discussion.

Yep, there is. Buy Arturia Analog Lab and the JMJ Tribute Bank.
Was just about to post the same! Though this method might be easier on the pocket book, unless you think time is money.

So if a plugin can generate over a hundred comments in three days, it has got to be hot, right? Okay. I'll buy it.

Just to confirm, I did not have AL 4 but bought the Vangelis Tribute. When I loaded the Vangelis presets, I was told some effects would not work in AL V. I was concerned that the Vangelis presets would not sound right which why I asked for a copy of AL 4.

I don't know if this is of interest to anyone out there but when I opened the Vangelis Tribute bank in Labs V, I got this message:
I contacted support and they added an NFR copy of Labs 4 to my account.

FYI, Bapu cheated because he let the forum mods here transfer his legacy post count over from the old Cakewalk forum when it was locked.
What a head start! 🤣
I wondered if he gamed the system somehow. He has been on this forum approximately 3 years and change. So he would have had to post at least 80 times a day to achieve those numbers. Still a pretty incredible lifetime achievment
And from what I understand, his Toontrack collection is still the envy of all.

Not nearly as smart as Larry, but it casts a nice BIG net to catch deals!
And the site does not facilitate discussion as to whether the deal is worth looking at or not. But it is still an extremely useful tool, and will only get better when they add the ability to create a wishlist and then flag you when the prices of items on said list fall below a certain threshold.

It's a $69 upgrade, but I asked nicely and just picked it up for $39. 🙂
It looks like the website has been updated with the $69 price now. Sorry guys.
And thanks @Doug Rintoul !
And now I need to stop checking this damn website everyday... 🤨
Glad they came through for you! It is responses like this from customer support that encourage me to continue to support a company.

I've just changed the title of the blog to be less misleading. Even though Sound Packs work as standalone instruments, I can see where you were coming from. Hopefully that'll make it clearer for new readers sorry about that!
No problem. It was just that some people might have thought they could buy Chromophone and get Lounge Lizard and Strum for free, for example.

I'm saving Kavinsky, Strawberry Fields, and Stardust for the next round!
I think that Floyd, JMJ, Tangerine Dream, and Vangelis had the overall biggest influence on my early interest in electronic music.
However my initial interest in synths was sparked by the first time I ever heard "Switched-On Bach" performed on a Moog synth by Wendy (Walter) Carlos. I was hooked forever!
My story for my early interest in electronic music echoes yours almost completely. I would also add Larry Fast/Synergy and the Windham Hill release Soul of the Machine. And of course, Manheim Steamroller.

I would like to dedicate my 1000th post on the CW forum to all who have made this forum the best place to hang out on the Internet.
First and foremost, to King Larry, without whom our wallets would be fuller and our hard drives emptier. Your tireless work is unequalled.
To Fleer, who more than not, has pushed me over the edge when I was undecided about making a purchase.
To Bapu, whose post count and Toontrack collection is something to which we can only dream of aspiring.
To Tiger the Frog, whose window into the past of composing for film are both inspiring and entertaining.
To Simeon, whose playing is so effortless, that I have made purchases based on his videos only to realize that you actually need talent to make the plugins sound as good as Simeon can make them.
And to countless others whose presence here have provided hours of entertainment, good advice, and a real sense of community.

Any idea how the tribute banks compare to the SynthMaster ones? Some of the same sound designers did both.

I see $69 for the upgrade. I didn't want it anyway

Were you logged into your account and do you already own Into? Just curious.

This is a bit misleading. It is not buy one plugin, get two plugins free. It is buy one plugin and get Multiphonics and one Soundpack free. Not that I really care. I already have all AAS's plugins.

I see $69 for an upgrade fee. Do you know if it's still possible to get $39?
IIRC, you had to be logged into your account and have already purchased Analog Labs Intro to see the $39 upgrade. However according to a Reddit post, the offer expired January 31. Otoh, this is what I see when I go to https://www.arturia.com/analoglabintro-upgrade

Dreadful GUI and workflow compared to version 1 and it required three authorizations (two in the 'installer' and one in Cubase). Goodbye izotope...
I can't comment on the GUI because I haven't played with it yet. However I only needed to authorize it once in the iZotope Product Portal. And it loaded in Cubase fine with no additional authorizations required. I used the iZotope authorization not iLok. Do you have a nonstandard installatiion?

I already had everything in that bundle except Stutter Edit 2. I almost bought the bundle last month for $49 just to get SE2, because it was cheaper than buying SE2 on its own. Now I was able to buy SE2 for $10. Glad I waited.

I can't find any info on this at all. Google has let me down. Dare I try Bing?

I need to constantly check their site to make sure auto renew is turned off. I'm stuck with it for another year.
That happened to me. I contacted them as soon as it was auto renewed. They cancelled my subscription and refunded my money.

Only 21 more needed to get to level 8! The dev says he is a few days from finishing Pulse for level 8.
Note that even if you have bought into the GB, you can still bump up the numbers by buying one of the newer releases such as Fractionate, and MIDI Mod.

Allow me to back up and explain again. I registered current editions (new subscriber) of CM #304 & #305 in FileSilo, and saw a standalone download for Thorn CM was unlocked (not the instrument suite). THAT download only contained the Mac installer. Assume that was an oversight on their part to have omitted the Windows version. The unlocked standalone (non suite) zip files for Zebra CM and Bazille CM are dual platform.
So I went ahead and purchased back issue CM #296 for $0.99, and have the CM Plugin Suite PC Instruments unlocked and downloaded now. It contains the Windows setup for Thorn CM. All good now, except that it was a bit of a hassle, and cost an extra $0.99.
I don't think you actually needed to purchase CM #296. The CM Plugin Suite PC Instruments I downloaded that contained Thorn was from the filesilo link for CM#305. I also tried the link in the ZIP file for faster download (it downloaded a file called Legacy CM Plugin Suite PC Instruments.zip), and it too contained the PC version of Thorn. Interestingly enough, the CM#305 filesilo link points to the download for CM#296.
You are correct that the standalone download for Thorn only contains the Mac version. Something is a bit messed up for sure.

I got it from BestService last December for $79.64 with some sort of promo code and pennies in BestCoin. I am really liking the synth like I have no other (except maybe Zebra), and I have a lot of synths.
