Seems constant hiss is a consistent complaint.

I have these. They sound great! I am using a balanced signal path. Everything is clean as a whistle. 

I sure paid more than 70 bucks when I bought them three years ago. I don't regret it though. I am using them with a subwoofer because BASS.

If you are talking about last summer's GB, then Syntronic 2 was not out then. So you could not have gotten Syn2 synths in that GB.

Also the Clar-Dudak is available for free and works with free Kontakt!

Even then it would be priced to high for me, I own it as part of Komplete 13, and foolishly owned GR5 and perhaps one previous, no amount of scrubbing could remove the fowl stench, no amount of soap in mouth could remove the fowl taste. But that's just me.

You see, the factory multis can and do use any synth and preset in the collection. So they are basically useless unless you have all of the synths and presets at your disposal. So for example anyone using the CS or SE editions would be perplexed by these errors when loading the multis due to the missing factory presets.

Edit: after another minute of thought, this occurred to me.  That the factory multis would only be fully effective if you have installed ALL of the Syntronik 2 synths.

TBH, it would not be very hard for IKM to add a feature where Syntronik 2 inventories the installed synths and then only displays the multis that are applicable. It would be similar to Amplitube or T-Racks only displaying presets for installed gear.

I have pretty much resigned myself to not wanting or needing MAX studio, so the group buys are fine for me. I already have too many toys in my toybox, at least that is what I tell myself.

I have sent a message to support asking if there is a way to download multis if the GB goes all the way. I'll let you know if they respond.

From what I understand, the only difference is the resale value. Functionally, you end up with the same thing, whether you get it via a maxed out GB, or via MAX.

I had everything except bx_subsynth and RX Elements (have RX 7 Elements (Lite). RX Elements can be had at Plugin Boutique for $10. I went that route even though it may be a freebie in the future. Don't care about bx_subsynth.

BTW RX is at version 9 but RX Elements is based on RX 8, not 9. Not sure of this matters.

By my calculations, we are tracking to hit about 2200 participants by the time 30 days are up. But as we have seen in the past, momentum can pick up as the end approaches, or IKM may extend the group buy so that the requisite 3000 participants is hit. I would be surprised if it didn't make it. I actually only need it to go to 2800 because I already had two freebies.

I had everything except the Lyrical Violin Phrases but I bought anyway because it is a good cause and becauses the phrases alone are worth $9.90.
