This topic is not about interfaces, this is about a bug in CbB, which could be easily corrected.
Wasting resources for devices people (like me) do not need is never a good idea, especially when its a software bug, which I simply can avoid in my own VST3 host...
It's not a bug. It's you trying to use some substandard bootleg garbage instead of proper equipment..
Funny how nobody with a real audio interface set up correctly has problems like this....

no offence, but why even bother posting this comment? 🙄
No offense, but what happened to you were going to put me on your ignore list?
You sure do love to jump in and get offended by things I say to someone else that don't concern you.
-
No offense, but if you hadn't been too smart to "need a manual" you would have solved this in five minutes.

An audio interface is no option.

I wrote to their tech support, and they suggested that I change DAWs to one of their "approved" programs.
F--- 'em! Amplitube works just fine in CW. As does Guitar Rig, TH-U, Softube and pretty much every other amp sim.
FYI Amplitube's Jimi Hendrix is very nice....

Hell no! I've spent too much money on good cymbals to let them go to waste!

Why are you so afraid of connecting to the Internet for a few minutes?

Next is still in public beta so I don't know what else you'd call it
-
All this is covered in the documentation....
-
Perhaps you shouldn't be beta testing if you don't know what you're doing or what exactly it is you are beta testing.

Record it right in the first place and you don't have to fix it later.

Thx, but I use Cakewalk since Sonar 5. Believe me I don't need a manual.
Believe me, you quite obviously do.
Good luck with you and your attitude.

I have an MXL R144, which is actually pretty good. It is one of those "bang for the buck" mics. It's no AEA R44, but its not $4000 either.

What is wrong with what you have now?

Turn down the input gain and put a louder signal into it.

Thanks @satya, I have contemplated picking up EMISYNTH in the past and this price and the PB freebies are pretty tempting. Does anyone here have EMISYNTH that can share their thoughts?
Interesting. They were the Soviet Union's answer to the toy Casios of the '80s.
