    Thanks for the suggestion. I've tried another reinstall today and experimented with some settings but it's still hanging when I close a project. I'll check  a few more things and if it's still occurring I'll send a crash dump file as suggested by Lord Tim.

You can help the Bakers track down the cause by getting a crash dump when it hangs next, zipping it, uploading to a file sharing service (eg: Dropbox, Google Drive) and getting it over to support to analyse.     Since installing 2022.11, when I close a project, Cakewalk hangs (not responding) and I have to close down Cakewalk in Task Manager before relaunching and opening a new project.  I haven't seen any other comments regarding this but curious to know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem?

    I've tried reinstalling the 2022.11 update but the issue continues. It also happens if I create a new project with no plugins loaded, so it doesn't appear to be a plugin issue.

    Running Windows 11,  Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, UAD Apollo Twin USB. System has been rock solid until now. Long term Cakewalk/Sonar user and not had this issue before.  I can work around it or roll back but it would be good to find out why it's happening. Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks for the update @Noel Borthwick  Good that it's at least working in the latest version of CW and hope Motu respond with an update - although i'm not holding out too much hope - their last update was 7 years ago! 😳

    The issue I reported of 2021.04 crashing when loading Motu Ethno instrument now appears fixed in 2021.04 Update 1 Early Access (build 115). Thanks

  6. When loading an existing project with Motu Ethno Instrument or trying to add Ethno to an existing or new project, I get an instant crash at the point Ethno is being loaded. No error messages - Cakewalk just closes. No issues in earlier versions of Cakewalk. Anyone else experiencing the same issue or running Ethno successfully in 2021.04?
