For me it's NKS that keeps me on board.

Just jumped on Tonal Balance, $149 and 20% off at JRR after the crash. Don't think I'll get a better deal soon.

Yeah with all the IR Loaders for Guitar Cabs floating around. I really don't know what the difference really is between all of these.

Tip for Gmail Users: Dots in your email are considered the same email for Google so: some.one@gmail.com is the same as someone@gmail.com.

Most websites, like Groove3, still consider them seperate email accounts. So you could just put a random dot in your email adress to sign up for a new account at Groove3, without actually creating a new Gmail account.

I never bought a retail one. Though it may be a Win 8  OEM that I upgraded with a MS Deal to Win 10 pro. Not sure if that made it a retail one?

I never really had an issue with it, I've been dragging the same windows 10 pro license over two times now, without disassociating it to my old machine before. Seems to be no problem as long as it is associated to your MS account.

With all the great NKS stuff NI has been releasing with their partners. Komplete 13 might be a day one upgrade for me.

That is their standard Pro update price. But I agree it is pretty steep.

I think I'll wait for Black Friday, or even on the 5.5 version.

Did they put the whole of notion in Studio One, or just a subset?

Anything on update pricing?

I'll check first what Studio One 5 bringt to the table before adding another DAW to my arsenal.
